Analyst Individuals gather and analyze business and functional requirements and act as a liaison between the business users and technology. This requires detailed and expert knowledge of credit card processes and systems. Specially ECS or VisionPLUS. These individuals have a good understanding of both business and technology requirements and are able to explain the business needs to the technologist and can "translate" technological terms and concepts to the business users/clients. Consults with users and clients on system issues/problems and recommends solutions Assists the business and technology areas with testing plans, strategies and scripts Assist the LATAM Business with the evaluation of Regional and Global initiatives To train the business users and tech staff on cards' system functionality Communicates with more senior project staff and clients regarding status requirements/solutions and issue resolution. Training Phase Consults with users and clients on system issues/problems and recommends solutions Assists the business and technology areas with testing plans, strategies and scripts Assist the LATAM Business with the evaluation of Regional and Global initiatives To train the business users and tech staff on cards' system functionality Communicates with more senior project staff and clients regarding status requirements/solutions and issue resolution. SMEs are to provide general ECS training as well as ECS parameter training prior to BRD Phase SMEs are to provide ECS User training prior to ECS testing phase BRD Phase Help business understand the requirements that are gaps and those that are covered by base system functions. Help define the requirements in a level of detail which is enough for ITO understanding. Ensure that the requirements are signed off in a shorter period of time

by mediating discussions between ITO and business keeping focus on clarification of requirements. Escalate commitments business is not meeting regarding clarification of the requirements. Identify requirements which are supposed to be fulfilled by other regional systems and ensure these are brought into the requirement discussions. FS Review Phase Analyze the FS. Help business understand the functional specifications. Discuss with business the solutions provided Provide business functional support and help them to clarify ITO's questions. Work with both local SMEs and Singapore on alternatives to fulfill the required function(s) that are not feasible according to ITO's analysis. Interact with other process experts when the solution provided could impact other modules To make sure that the FS document meets business' needs according to the requirement, and that the information in it is consistent and clear. Review and ensure that the FS provided addresses/provides technical solution to original BRD and is understood by the business. The FS must be as clear and detailed as possible as this will also be a main use for UAT Plan & Scripts. Ensure that any FS comments related to other modules or groups are reviewed equally. With the FS defined validate the document from beginning to end. Ensure that everything that was requested in the BRD and agreed during the revisions is included in the document. Ensure FS is signed off by target date. UAT Phase Ensure the solutions have been developed as per detailed in the functional specifications. Provide functional support to the local SMEs and testers.
