HOLD ON

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you are a lion or a gazelle. When the sun comes up, you better start running.

Very few, rare, are conscious of their choice in education.

Academic achievements
Academic achievements can not be built overnight

Foreign language skills, especially English For Japanese universities, usually we apply for the scholarship first, not the university (in other countries might be different). First year will be pre-university courses,i.e., language and basic sciences according to the choice of field of study. In the mean time students will have to apply for admission to university.
Some university will require students to sit for entrance exam while some others rely on the result of the pre-university courses results.

COLLABORATE, DONT COMPETE

Sharing of knowledge and expertise

Build network for the future

Learn other culture (the positives) Adapt when appropriate, dont let go your own identity/dignity
