Where does it come from

Snow comes from the clouds within the sky. It is made because the clouds are filled with, water which falls down in to freezing air and makes snow. Temperature needs to be lower than zero degrees for snow to be made. Rain also comes from the clouds and is made just like snow accept the air is not freezing so the water stays a liquid.

What is it
Rain is water falling in drops from vapor being trapped in clouds. Snow is water freezing as it falls from the clouds. Hail is very similar to rain or snow accept Hail is water freezing in the clouds and falling already frozen. Sleet is a mixture of rain and snow due to ice melting on the way down from the clouds.

How do weathermen predict the weather

Predicting the weather is a mix of using computers, watching the weather, and a knowing about trends and patterns. By using these, forecasts can be made several days in advance. Most of the time weathermen or meteorologists use a radar to predict the weather. A Radar is an electronic tool, which determines the direction and distance of objects that send radio energy back to the radar site. It stands for Radio Detection and Ranging.
