(eoptda) is the verb that expresses "to not exist." Do not confuse this with the negative Korean copula (anida), meaning "to not be." This can express absence or lack of possession. In this lesson, we use (eoptda) to express a lack of possession. We can use (eoptda) to express "to not have" (possession). For Example:
