vs. Conventional Speakers

Orange Pales LAD16 networked Active Digital Line Array speakers are so
revolutionary that there are several significant differences between them and
conventional box loudspeakers when evaluating them. The major differences are
examined below:

In a conventional box type of speaker system the sound radiates in all directions.
This means listeners hear more of the reflected sound than direct sound
leading to echoes and indistinct/unclear speech.

LAD16 Networked Active Line Array: Conversely a LAD16 network
loudspeaker is able to focus its sound beam directly towards the listener and
dramatically improve intelligibility and clarity of speech by minimizing
indirect/reflected sound. This is done without any costly acoustic
treatment work or altering any parts of the existing building.

When multiple LAD16 loudspeakers are combined into a single stack different
beam widths can be generated to accommodate various listener-seating
requirements.

Fewer Units required for a given job:
Thats not all, because of the unique design of the LAD16s Digital Line Array
enclosure, sound travels further than a conventional speaker. Also the sound
quality is more uniform when heard at close quarters or away at a distance.
Therefore in most cases, fewer number of LAD16 units are required when
compared to an equivalent conventional box solution. (There are actual cases
where just four LAD16 units have replaced around 27 expensive conventional box
speakers with far better sound clarity!)

Ease of setup: With a LAD16 system, everything is integrated no additional
amplifiers are required. Setup is very simple, just attach an inexpensive network
cable to the LAD16, and connect both the LAD16 and its NP4 to a switch and its
ready to go! No messy speaker cables and the system can be scaled up to
hundreds or thousands, all of which can be controlled centrally from a single
software interface!
