Abstract -ai<e culti6ation in *orontalo Regenc) is co..onl) /one in /r) lan/' an/ this has .a/e water as the .ain li.iting factor for the e=cellent growth of the lant' as the lant often e= eriences water stress. 0his stu/) was con/ucte/ to e=a.ine the agrono.) traits an/ h)siolog) of h)+ri/ an/ co. osite .ai<e on 6arious water a lication le6els. 0he stu/) was /one using a S lit Plot 2esign in each with three re etitions. 0he .ain lots were for four /ifferent le6els of water a lication: without water (3#!' once water a lication (31!' twice water a lication (32!' an/ three-ti.e water a lication (33!. 0he su+- lots were for the .ai<e 6arieties' which consiste/ of two le6els na.el) h)+ri/ .ai<e 6ariet) 1isi-2 (&1! an/ co. osite .ai<e 6ariet) 1is.a (&2!. 0he results of the stu/) show that three-ti.e water a lication has hel e/ increasing the height of the lants' the /r) weight of the lants' as well as the /r) weight of grains.
