Conclusion Given the rapidly changing media structure, the widespread of new media, especially the Internet is rapidly

becoming a new force in broadcast organizations around the world. It has changing the way for them to reach and understand their audiences as never before. However, there are several concerns about the new media such as online safety, privacy, credibility of source and so on. Therefore, in order to better understand the effects of the new media on the traditional broadcast media (Radio and TV), our overall objective was to study the interrelatedness between traditional and new media from different aspects including politics, social development and economic. Firstly, we find that the traditional broadcast media still playing a strong effect upon the public. We still need these media to disseminate useful information in rural areas. It is because many rural areas there are no internet connectivity due to the lack of costs and infrastructures. Hence, we still need to use traditional broadcast media such as radio to reach those rural communities. For example, the rural community radios are used by developing countries such as Uruganda, to disseminate agricultural issues and healthcare information. Secondly, we discover a high level of interdependence among traditional broadcast media and new media, social media in particular. As we can seen, radio and television broadcasters around the world have connecting to their audiences using social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Weibo etc. this actually helps them to promote their works and maintaining youth audiences. This observation supports our claim that traditional broadcast media should not give way to new media, but rather integrate and converge as a single system. In addition, we also find that the content of information is vital, but without people knowing it, is useless. Therefore, traditional broadcast media should actually utilize the new media to distribute their content. So that, more people will get the information and benefit from it as the reach of the internet is much larger than televisions or radios. Thirdly, the emergent of new media has helped improve government transparency and accountability. With the rise of social media such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, government agencies have joined in the trend by creating social media accounts. They have making documents available online to improve public access and allow the governments to more efficiently get information to the people. Furthermore, we also discover that a lot of countries have combined the traditional broadcast media (Radio and television) and new media (Internet), to support their educational goals. For example, they have introduced educational radio and television programs in schools to enhance teaching-learning process. And, with the help of the internet, teachers and students can now access to

educational information easily. The information exchange between local schools and schools from other countries has too escalating by the internet.
