WATER IS OUR BUSINESS

GWC-Water Consultant is located in Vienna, Austria. Customers are using GWC special chemicals in cooling water, boiler water, water preparation and waste water systems. GWC core business activities comprise the water treatment customer consultancy and the development, marketing and sales of the GWC water treatment chemicals and equipments. GWC-Water Consultant has a culture that is focused on delivering a return on investment (ROI) for the GWC water treatment services. ROI is most often the result of lowering our customer ongoing costs in a deliberate and sustainable way. We use a well defined Total Cost Reduction (TCR) process to pursue opportunities and implement solutions that deliver ongoing savings for our customers. GWC philosophy of operation is to collaborate always with our customers as a partner and not as a chemical seller. The relationship with GWC customers is based on long term win-win collaboration and GWC helps its customers operation as consultant for any problem related to water including feasibility study for the implementation of new ideas, new project design, new application start-up, normal utilities operation, shut-down, inspection and equipment preservation during shut-down. GWC philosophy doesnt include and GWC doesnt pursue occasional and opportunist short term business relationship. GWC company mission for all employees is:

GWC Company Mission

Our Mission is to be the preferred provider of tailor made and environmental friendly solutions to tackle our customers water problems. Customers will choose GWC because we provide cost-effective solutions that are translated into value for our customers through our professional service team to achieve one hundred percent customers satisfaction and allow them to compete and be leader in their own industry

Specifically GWC can do:

On existing plants:
Evaluate current performance of the plants, overall and by process steps (boilers, turbines, condensers, sand filter, cooling towers, heat exchangers, gas scrubbers, clarifiers, etc.) Identify improvements areas by comparing with industry best practices and norms Propose specific modifications / upgrades to improve performance and reduce total cost of operation. Provide basis engineering services for modifications / upgrades (mass balance, process and instrumentation diagrams, equipment technical specifications, construction drawings, bill of materials, etc.)

On new plants
Design a new water plant according to the best technology for the specific industry and according to the best practices and norms Provide basis engineering services for modifications / upgrades (mass balance, process flow diagrams, layout drawings process and instrumentation diagrams, equipment technical specifications, construction drawings, bill of materials, etc.) Assist in the selection of suitable equipment and suppliers Assist in construction, installation, start-up and commissioning Provide training of operators and engineers

On all plants
Raw water clarification and treatment Water re-use and recycle Waste water treatment and minimization Reduction of sludge volume

GWC covers many industries like:

Power Generation District cooling and Heating Refineries Petrochemical industry Environmental Services Steel industry Pharmaceutical Food Industry Waste Water

GWC chemical product range includes a full line for boiler, cooling systems, water preparation and waste water together with process special products like corrosion inhibitors for liquid fertilizers and anti-caking for granulated fertilizers.

For boiler systems GWC-Water Consultant has 4 product lines: Oxygen scavengers Sludge and hardness removers Corrosion inhibitors for steam condensate network Inhibited acid for scale remover

Sludge and hardness removers are often combined with an oxygen scavenger and other actives in multifunctional products. GWC has also developed sludge and hardness removers based on organic compounds. In this way there isnt formation of phosphate salts precipitation.

The corrosion inhibitors for steam condensate networks can be distinguished into inhibitors for short/simple and long/complex steam condensate networks. Inhibited acid for scale remover are used to clean safely a scaled system or equipment.

For cooling tower systems GWC-Water Consultant has 3 product lines: - Dispersants - Corrosion and scale inhibitors - Products against algae and bacteria Dispersants are mostly used in open once-through systems or to prevent fouling in recirculation systems from iron, hardness, bio-fouling or phosphate. Corrosion and scale inhibitors are often combined in one multifunctional product and used in open and closed recirculating systems. GWC product line has corrosion inhibitors based on nitrite, phosphate, zinc, molybdate and all organic, each with its own field of application. The latest development we introduced is a biodegradable hardness stabilisers, which reduce the impact on the environment significantly.

For waste water treatment GWC-Water Consultant has 4 product lines: - Primary flocculants - Anionic polyelectrolyte - Non-ionic polyelectrolyte - Cationic polyelectrolyte Primary flocculants are often combined with a polyelectrolyte to clean waste water from a wide variety of pollution such as metals, organic pollution or dust. The nature of pollution determines whether an anionic, non-ionic or cationic polyelectrolyte is requested. The molecular weights vary between 5000 and 20 million, with a varying number of charged sites along the molecule, giving different charge densities. GWC can supply polymers water based, in emulsions and in powder form.

dedicate special attention to customer services via our field support engineers. Field service support is done by qualified technical service engineers because a successful water treatment program is more than just offering and delivering water treatment chemicals. The final results of the combination of chemicals, service and equipments are innovative solutions and a very high satisfaction for GWC customers.

The GWC customers dont buy just chemicals, but they buy a Return On their Investment in five major areas: Asset Reliability Improved Operation and Production Efficiencies Decreased Total Cost Of Operation Enhanced Competitive Advantage Minimized Environmental Health and Safety Concerns

As result the GWC customers gain additional profitability and competitive advantages versus their competitors. A special project field where GWC helps its customers is in energy savings and water savings projects. There are three main projects categories: Water Reduction & Conservation projects: these are project to reduce the amount of total water used through improved operation of existing equipment and process. The main project task is to review deeply all present consumption and water utilization and then implement specific actions to reduce water use and achieve significant savings Water Recover & Reuse projects: these projects have as main task the review of the water balance and the water characteristics in order to reclaim the water used in one process and to be used as make-up of another process without any change to its quality and before it is discharged as waste. In other words to use the water more times before to drain it as waste. Water Recycle & Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) projects: these projects are more complex and specific treatments must be applied to the waste water streams in order to change the water quality and make it suitable to be returned as make-up of some process. If all the waste water is treated and completely recovered the project is a Zero Liquid Discharge because the plant doesnt discharge anymore any water to the external environment.
