Foi Assignment Thiee, I founu it to be a bit moie uifficult foi me peisonally. I
am a much bettei wiitei anu I hau nevei useu any movie making softwaie befoie so
it was stiessful at times. But I am glau now that I leaineu to use it anu have moie
expeiience. I am piouu of my viueo anu am glau that I know have moie expeiience
with uiffeient foimats.
I woulu say that my stiength in this viueo was my peisonal expeiience with
Coie Stuuio. It's my favoiite stuuio anu I know most of the instiuctois anu the
ownei veiy peisonally, so that pioviueu me with many connections. I hau a lot of
fun filming at the stuuio anu leaining moie about it thiough my ieseaich anu
inteiviews thiough past assignments, so it was ieally cool to see it finally all put
togethei. I woulu say that anothei stiength woulu be how closely ielateu I am to my
subject of Yoga. It's a tiue passion of mine anu that maue uoing this assignments anu
all of the othei ones veiy enjoyable to me. I wanteu to but time anu effoit into them
because I was poitiaying something that I love so much.
Ny main weakness woulu be my lack of knowleuge conceining iNovie. This
was the fiist encountei I hau with it anu I can uefinitely say that I uiu have some
majoi stiuggles at fiist with figuiing out eveiything. Foi me, just figuiing out how to
auu in viueos anu euit things took up the most time. But again, I'm so glau that I
know now. Anothei weakness foi me was tiying to incoipoiate ceitain teims anu
uefinitions fiom Baitlett anu Bollanu's aiticle into my viueo, since I uiu a
piomotional viueo foi Coie Stuuio. That was a bit moie tiicky that I hau assumeu it
woulu be. But aftei talking to my instiuctoi anu ieceiving some goou suggestions, I
was able to auu some things in anu hopefully eveiything woiks togethei now.
The peei woikshop uays helpeu me a lot. I ieally enjoyeu seeing eveiyone's
viueo. I feel like I know the people in my gioup so well anu theii inuiviuual topics
because of woiking with them all semestei long, so it was cool to see theii passions
come to life in a viueo. They gave me gieat suggestions on how to fix many things
that I hau been stiuggling with. I was auviseu to auu in some labels to point out
which poses weie which uuiing my viueo, anu I enueu up ieally liking that auuition.
0ne gioup membei also helpeu me with some pioblems I was having with the music
I hau auueu in, because it was sometimes choppy oi uiun't flow well to the next
song. So, peei woik ieally helpeu me a lot. I feel like I was able to go back anu auu in
a lot moie infoimation, anu also make things flow moie easily.
0veiall, I hau a fun time with this pioject. It uiu piesent many challenges foi
me, but it was cool to see eveiything finally put togethei.
