Group 1: Adan, AJ, Thomas, Holley, Rogelio, Trinity Focus Skill: Letter Patterns
Objective: Literary TextStudents will be able to comprehend, interpret, and evaluate, identify setting and plot, cause and effect, sequence of events, describe characters, main idea, expand language skills, make predictions, and respond to text. Expository TextStudents will be able to identify text features, main idea based on evidence, sequence, cause and effect, make and revise predictions, inferences and conclusions, synthesize, recall and organize main ideas Procedures: Teacher will meet with small guided group. Teacher will introduce skill. Students will read leveled book, focusing on previewing text, accessing prior knowledge, build background, set purpose and make predictions. While teacher is meeting with group, other groups will be working on center activities

Group 2: Alysha, Nicole, Orion, Hailey, Gabriel Focus Skill: Blends and Diagraphs
