Protective clothing made of NOMEX Comfort Why ALWIT GmbH, since already 1968 manufacturer of Personal Protective Equipments

(PPE) made of NOMEX and probably the first company in Europe in this field, concentrates on NOMEX Comfort (before: NOMEX Delta C) ? Really simple, because ALWIT has a lot of experience and knows that NOMEX Comfort is the most perfect material of the NOMEX family. NOMEX Comfort has same blend of 5% para-aramide fibres KEVLAR as NOMEX III, a mixture that prevents or reduces the break-off of the material during flame exposure. NOMEX Comfort is permanently antistatic without addition of stainless steel fibres, because antistatic is build-in. Du Ponts carbon fibre P 140 incorporated as core yarn in the soul of the threads provides a quick discharge by induction, sufficient to avoid spark discharge caused by static charge. This antistatic property can be tested according to EN 1149 part 3. NOMEX Comfort consists of finest fibres, and therefore it has a soft texture and high comfort. NOMEX Comfort may be also piece dyed - as NOMEX III. The formula reads therefore: PPE from NOMEX Comfort is SAFETY + PROFITABILITY + COMFORT = QUALITY

Compared to other types of same weight NOMEX Comfort offers + better protection, + more comfort and + antistatic properties Compared to other types of same protection NOMEX Comfort offers + less weight + more comfort + lower price
