Does Every Country Need Nuclear Weapon ?

Beside of oxforddictionaries.com, Nuclear weapon is a bomb or missile that uses nuclear energy to cause an explosion. It became a new power of some countries. Until now, nuclear weapon is the most dangerous weapon in the world. Nuclear weapons have been used twice in the course of warfare, both times by the United States near the end of World War II. On 6 august 1945, an uranium gun-type fission bomb code-named Little-Boy was detonated over the Japanese city of Hiroshima. Three days later, on 9 August, a plutonium implosion-type fission bomb code-name Fat-Man was exploded over Nagasaki, Japan. These weapons have the capacity to wipe out entire enemy city or country and are often highlighted as the answer terrorism. The decision to replace them with a new security measure has been a topic of debate for while now, but no concrete talks have been held. Many peace activists proclaim that the world would be much safer without nuclear bombs but there is also possibility that if it is not nuclear bombs, something else would threaten world peace. Currently, it is possible to keep a tab on the number of nuclear bombs in the world, as every country using the excuse of strategic defense of acquire these destructive weapons. Defense experts also say that is wouldnt be wise decision to scrap all nuclear weapons, when various hostile states are on the verge to acquire them in large number. Their usage is considered highly immoral and highly dangerous. When a nuclear experiment is conducted, its after effects can be seen till decades. Itll produce radiation that can destruct part of body like skin or lungs. A nuclear weapon derives its devastating force from a nuclear fission reaction. So, even a small bomb has enough potential to wipe out an entire city. More the number of weapons made, more the risks are to human life. Maintaining and keeping a nuclear bomb safe is pretty expensive, and it takes a large share from countrys defense budget. Hostile countries are more likely to have a civil war in which they may use nuclear bombs against each other, and the result could prove disastrous for the entire planet. Possession of nuclear weapons doesnt mean that country is powerful and developed; countries like Germany, Spain, and Australia dont possess a single nuclear weapon, but are still popular and advanced like many developed nations. It is impossible for us to reduce or get rid of the number of nuclear weapons. Moreover some countries which possess nuclear weapons have a same purpose, to protect their own nations from other countries threat or attack. But not every country can afford nuclear weapon because producing nuclear weapon spends a lot of money. After all, it is dangerous to the world peace if too many countries own nuclear weapon. It may cause Nuclear War and can wipe out the human race. it will cut off the continuity of human civilization.

Nuclear weapon has some advantages and disadvantages. If we use it well, it could help to fulfill humans needs. But if we dont use it well, it can bring destruction to the world. It depends on the usage, positive or negative. It will determine continuity of the next human civilization. Sources :
