2 December 2013 To whorn it may concern,

I am writing to recommend Jocelyn Baker and Brittan Aebischer to you. They plan to be married soon and are looking for a new international school to start their life together. I
have had the pleasure to get to know both of them in my capacity as the school director for the past year and a half.

Jocelyn is an up-and-coming school administrator. She is our Mathematics Department Head-Pedagogical and Organizatronal Leader of Mathematics Department. She is also the IB Diploma Program Coordinator-Pedagogical leader of IB staff. She has demonstrated tremendous leadership in managing all administrative tasks related to the IB program including: student recruitment, teacher trainings, student applications, predicted scores, mock exams, official exams, internal deadlines, collaboration between TOK, CAS and EE coordinators, and monthly progress reports. She is our resident IB expert.

Currently Jocelyn is responsible for our IB Five Year Review. It is such a pleasure to work with Jocelyn in this capacity, as I have been able to leave all of the concerns in her organized and capable hands" Jocelyn consistently demonstrates effective communication and has strong and positive working relationships with colleagues, administrators and students. She is an independent and resourceful leader and knowledgeable on current instructional practices and IB curriculum. She also has a creative side that counterbalances her exceptional organized nature"
Jocelyn models a desire for continual improvement by reflecting on perforrnance. The other IB teachers respect her for this and have improved what they do. She makes student learning her priority and ensures their success. Jocelyn also gives of her free time and is currently working with two students who needed the challenge of IB Further Maths. Jocelyn also has strong relationships with parents and students. She demonstrates initiative frequently by leading student council events, taking IB students on a retreat and coaching basketball. She recently had a leading role as an angel in a performance at our back to school assembly for students. She was a hit.

Brittan has tremendous enthusiasm and dedication in all of the many things he does for his students and for school. He has expanded the Art Program at the Middle School and made it cenfal to our building. His love for art is evident and he models this by keeping up his own art. Brittan has also been involved in our drama program and has been the set designer for our secondary plays. This year Brittan has also taken on our secondary drama classes. As usual, he has dedicated himself completely to creating something of the highest order. Brittan is very generous with his time, energy and significant skills. I am indebted to Brittan volunteering to act as the QSI Shekou Marketing Creative Director with a team of two others. They have worked around their busy schedules to produce novel approaches to marketingthathighlight our school and student's many achievements. Brittan also volunteered to take on the coordinator position of our robust Week Without Walls program. His organization has been outstanding and the advertisements and communication have been developed at a professional level. Brittan actively works to find solutions to problems he perceives in his environment. An example of this was his concern about the behavior climate of the school. In his effort to address the issue he involved others as the chairman of the Committee of Student Behavior and Morale.
Both Jocelyn and Brittan will be sorely missed next year. I highly recommend them and would gtadty hire them again in the future. Please contact me if you have any questions.
