Background A. President University Model United Nations President University Model United Nations, or PresUnivMUN, is an organization established by students with a high interest in international issues. Simulation conferences are conducted like the real United Nations conferences held in the UN Headquarters in New York. PresUnivMUN has sent delegations to numerous national MUNs, including Indonesia MUN 2011-2012, Nusantara MUN 2012, Jogja International MUN 2012-2013, and Diponegoro MUN. Delegations have also been sent to international MUNs such as Korea MUN, Nanyang Technological University MUN, and World MUN. Delegates who have been sent to these MUNs also bring recognition to President University by bringing back numerous awards, such as Best Delegate awards. B. President University Model United Nations Regeneration Camp Coming towards the end of the PresUnivMUN Boards administration 2012-2013, it has come for the time for a new Secretary General to be chosen along with the board for the administration 2013-2014. In order to develop and maintain a strong relationship between the old and new administrations, PresUnivMUN will hold the PresUnivMUN Regeneration Camp. This will be the first time executing a camp where the new board of PresUnivMUN will be inaugurated and a transfer of knowledge will be conducted for the new administration. The event will hold several sessions that will introduce MUN, UN and intergovernmental bodies, the history of PUMUN, leadership training, and also giving the chance for the newly established board to present their work plans for the upcoming administration. II. Goals and Objectives The goals and objectives of the PresUnivMUN Regeneration Camp can be summarized as follows: 1. Maintaining a strong relationship between the PresUnivMUN Board 2012-2013 and PresUnivMUN Board 2013-2014; 2. Allowing for the PresUnivMUN Board 2012-2013 to share their experiences and knowledge to the PresUnivMUN Board 2013-2014; 3. Giving the chance for the PresUnivMUN Board 2013-2014 to present their work plan for the upcoming administration; and 4. Inaugurating the PresUnivMUN Board 2013-2014. III. Session Details PresUnivMUN Regeneration Camp is expected to be the place for the new board of PresUnivMUN to be prepared fully in assuming their responsibilities. The activities are divided into two: team-bonding activities and substantial preparation. 1. Session I - Intro to MUN (Speaker: Made Yaya Sawitri) PresUnivMUN is an organization dedicated for intellectual exchange using a United Nations perspective and procedure. It is only fitting that the first session we conduct is to familiarize participants with Model UN. The main goal of this session is for every participant to understand the basic procedures of two styles of Model UN: UN-USA and TEIMUN. 2. Session II - Intro UN and Intergovernmental Bodies (Speaker: Wulandari Wardani) The goal of this session is to equip the new board with sufficient knowledge about UN bodies, intergovernmental bodies, and related international organizations. While it is called Model UN, in the practice, it has been known to do simulations of ASEAN Regional Forum, European Union, World Trade Organization, and such. Hence, it is why the basic information of these bodies will be helpful for new board in spicing up the MUN conference. 3. Session III - PresUnivMUN History and Knowledge Transfer (Speaker: 2011 Board members and first generation seniors) As the new board, it is pertinent that they understand and know their organization well. This session will take them down the memory lane of PresUnivMUN history and the fundamental spirit that it holds. In this session, the

Session IV - Job Description and Boards Program Presentation (Moderator: Lia Margaret Silalahi) In ensuring that the new PresUnivMUN run smoothly, the new board should be aware of their job description and also make their work plan. The concept is to divide them by their divisions, led by their new Secretary-General, Under Secretary General, and Deputies, and they are to discuss their plan for their PresUnivMUN. 5. Session V - Leadership Training (Speaker: Andreas Pandu Wirawan) In the world of Model UN and PresUnivMUN, leadership skill is truly needed. This session is aimed to arm the new board with the set of skill they need to develop as well as to enhance their potential. It is expected that through this session, they will be aware of the responsibilities they are assuming. VI.
