About The Andes Way


The Andes Way is the most important and biggest project in Southern Cone. It is a regional exchange project aimed at strengthening organizational work in NGOs in the country and to develop soft skills in young volunteers. This project will have a total duration of three months. The trainee will experience double impact on the region. The cities involved are Buenos Aires, Crdoba, Mendoza and Tandil.

Job Description
Department the intern will be working Job Description1 Job Description2 Communications The intern will have the responsability to "spread the word" about the NGOs Social Work with poor communities near the City of Buenos Aires. They will communicate via social networks (Webpage, Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc), and will have the challenge to innovate and use their creativity to communicate via other platforms. Job Description3 Database management: The intern will have to communicate via newsletters, using a database. They must work to update the databases and get more contacts. Job Description4 Press Management: Conatct press agents, and gain spaces to difuse the proyects. Design promotional pieces, such as audiovisual, printed and digital pieces. Design materials, present it on events. Job Description5 Job Description6 Measurable results expected from the intern Preparation required from the intern before arrival Details on the Working Conditions Other Details of the Working Conditions We expect the trainee to dominate (after three months), to develop their communicational skills. We also expect they to be creative and innovative towards the communication process. Good Spanish level, good management of the Office tools (Excel, Word and Power Point), good communicational skills and teamwork. Personal Workspace Internet Access Any Other 20 semanal hours. Work on the office, and "home office" work. Transportation between the NGO and the trainee's house is provided. Food is provided during working time. Host may not be provided, so it can cost USD 150 for the 6 weeks aprox. Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship Research in the present politic, economy and social of the country.
