WHAT IS GLAUCOMA
Glaucoma is associated with the increase of intraocular pressure, or the pressure inside the eye. There are many types of glaucoma the two main types of glaucoma are open-angle glaucoma and angle- closure glaucoma. Openangle is caused by slow clogging drainage canals, resulting in increased eye pressure, has wide and open-angle between the iris and the cornea, develops slowly and slowly and is a lifelong condition and has symptoms and damage that are not noticed. Angle-closure glaucoma is the less common of glaucoma is caused by blocked drainage canals, resulting in a sudden rise in intraocular pressure, has a closed or narrow angle between the iris and cornea ,develops quickly, has symptoms and damage that are usually very noticeable, and demands immediate medical attention. Its also called acute glaucoma or narrow angle glaucoma.
