Signalized Intersection Analysis Tool

This calculation tool is designed to quick estimate the signalized intersection delay and Level of Service (LOS) base 2010). To start, click "Start Analysis" button on this page or click on the Inputs tab at the bottom of this excel window a specify the orders of signal phases and rings. Parameters worksheet requires no inputs but data modification is and listed in this worksheet. It is recommended to use local parameters if available.

This tool only considers pre-timed signalization type and automobile mode. The impacts of conflicts between pede considered. Approach and intersection control delay includes both uniform delay and incremental delay. Extra dela automatic calculation process in "Analysis" worksheet is read-only and modification on these cells is disabled. The The instructions and definitions of variables or parameters can be found in pop-out comment box, which may assis outcomes. Please enable Marco feature in order to run this model.

Disclaimer: This analysis tool implements the procedures defined in Chapter 18 and Chapter 31 of the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM in this analysis tool are estimates. Actual performance may vary and the author of this tool will in no way be held accounta
