OUR HOUSE
Our House is published in the Spring semester just in time for sum-
mer orientation. It highlights student organizations and campus life from a new student perspective. Our House is given at each of the SOAR sessions. Space for off-campus advertisers is limited, so be sure to reserve your space early.
Our Neighborhood is published in the Fall semester. It is a guide to off-campus student life. It began as a resource for housing information but with the growth in Statesboro and GSU, we have expanded it to include restaurants, shopping and the Statesboro social scene.

Miscellany publishes any form of artwork that will fit in its pages. This includes poetry, short fiction and nonfiction, song lyrics, photography, paintings, graphic design, and sculpture, as well as a number of other mediums. Miscellany is released once in the fall and once in the spring.

Gameday Mayday is a special publication featuring exclusive coverage, including in-depth information on the Eagles and their opponents, traditions, rivalries and player profiles. Rosters for each team are included to ensure fans can identify each and every player. This special publication is handed out at every home game and printed as an insert to The George-Anne throughout the season. 4,500 per week printed. 2,000 extra will be printed for home games and handed out.

DEADLINESThe Customer must adhere to all deadlines. If the Customer uses Student Media design services, all ad materials must be submitted at least THREE BUSINESS DAYS prior to the desired run date to pro-vide sufficient time for Student Media to design the ad and send it off for approval of the proof. If the Customer creates their own ad with photo ready artwork, they must submit it to Student Media at least TWO BUSINESS DAYS prior to the desired run date. Failure of the Customer to meet deadlines may result in the ad running late.
ADVERTISEMENT POLICIES General Standards Advertising is not acceptable that tends, in the opinion of the Executive Board of Student Media, to destroy the confidence of the consumer. This includes advertising that is misleading, inaccurate, fraudulent, deceptive or ambiguous. The Executive Board or Director reserves the right to reject advertising that makes misleading claims or uses art or words that impugn or degrade sex, sexual orientation, race, national origin, creed, color, disability or age.Student Media reserves the right to reject advertising that promotes illegal activity or activity detrimental or damaging to the University and its educational mission. Student Media further reserves the right to reject any advertising that is deemed objectionable due to subject matter, illustration, phraseology or layout.
Alcohol Policy Georgia Southern University encourages the responsible use of alcohol by its students, faculty, staff and community. Advertisements for beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages may be accepted but must conform with Georgia Southern University Alcohol and Other Drugs Policies. Advertising for alcoholic beverages must include the following statement: If you are under the age of 21, it is against the law to buy alcoholic beverages. Advertising for alcoholic beverages will not be accepted if it is discriminatory, encourages high-risk consumption or places an emphasis on quantity or frequency of use. Alcohol should not be the only or central themes of such advertisements. Special Placement All ads are placed in the newspaper on a ROP (run of paper) basis. Requests for special placement in various sections of the paper will be given priority for a surcharge of 25 percent.
