Program(s) & Tools: Objectives:

InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Google images, Word.

Size and optimize an original logo as a .png for a web page. Write content to describe the process of creating your logo and how it appeals to a target audience. Design a web page using HTML to display a logo and content. Acquire a working knowledge of HTML and basic understanding of CSS. Identify hex colors for web design. Compress multiple files in a zipped folder to attach as one file.

Process:

To make this brochure I used mostly Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. I did also use some Adobe Illustrator but only to change the background color of the Bocoty logo that I had already formed in an earlier project. Using InDesign I started by making 2 pages and then put guides where my folds would be for the brochure. I then used Google images to find background images as well as a few images that are ment to show the photographic skill the company has to offer. I saved all of these in my project folder and then placed the wood and landscape backgrounds one on each page. I put the logo over that followed by getting a picture that the company took recently of its employees from my face book page. added a faded edge to it on Photoshop then placed it on the inside page. I then made text boxes put in my text applied a text wrap around my center image and then photoshoped my other images and added them. On the side meant to be the outside I split my logo and added on reverse sides so that it would fold together.
