NATURE IN SPACE (SUSTAINABILITY)

Abstract Space human destroying, human creating, but its time to utilize man made space. Because human destroying nature to create space but now he has to create space for nature itself. We cant live without nature and nature is far away from us because such township and planning. This study is to study how space is important in human life. How nature is important in human life. How spaces can be utilized and how it affects physiological aspects of human. Hotels, township even retail industry now a day using this concept for costumer to make their spaces interactive. Designers do research on human physiology to find out the result of consumer behavior. And then according to result they install natural things in stores and hotels.

INTRODUCTION
Public spaces are a fundamental feature of cities. They represent sites of sociability and face-to-face interaction, and at the same time their quality is commonly perceived to be a measure of the quality of urban life. Ideally, they are places that are accessible to everybody and where difference is encountered and negotiated. Today there are no spaces and we are living far from the nature. Nature is the only source by which we can get many things so it is necessary to live in nature. Today many of the designers are working on the spaces so that they can create spaces where we can plant trees to create landscape. Now a day designers are moving nature in indoor space. From house to hotel they are creating such spaces which are full with nature. By this concept they are trying to make us live in nature with making interior interactive. Interior of house becoming green today. And yes it also will help to our future generation. Tomorrow world will be green world by such concepts. Even designers are designing stores in such a way that they are using natural props to create V.M. of stores.

SUSATINABLE DESIGN IN MODERN SPACE COSNTRUCTION


A wide range of everyday public spaces were described as having an influence on peoples well-being, from local streets and footpaths to parks and markets. Policy directives, such as the Cleaner, Safer, Greener agenda, have stressed the role that green spaces play in delivering physical and mental health benefits. Although numerous informants discussed the general health benefits of parks as places to unwind, participate in informal leisure activities, observe others, and seek solitude or simply to walk through just as many people pointed to streets or markets as therapeutic spaces, albeit for different

reasons. Their value lay more in the shared elements of public space, in the social vibrancy of urban life and seeing other people.

Interior designers are renovating and designing of interior space within buildings. An interior designer is a professional that has practical and technical expertise to create interior environments that serve their end users with functionality and improve the quality of life, increase productivity and protect the health, safety and welfare of the public. Professional interior designers are able to visually enhance spaces with creative solutions that are developed through researching and observing the physical environments. Nowadays, depletion of resources and climate changes that change the earth and our lives become more and more seriously. Therefore, the main content of this dissertation is mainly discussed on what are green design or sustainable design and its application towards modern space. There are several elements that needed to take into consideration when construct and design a sustainable space such as ventilation, energy efficiency and usage of materials. A well understanding and taking control of design can enhance the possibilities of enjoyment of our spaces. In addition, well-designed spaces can also help us live more fully than we had imagines. The connection between sustainable design and how it affects human behavior is a major concern for humanity. As we can see, pollution has caused serious disaster to our natural environment, so that it is now urgent for us to flee from the wasteful and carefree existence to a sustainable way of life. The carefree lifestyles and abundant use of energy caused ozone depletion, the steadily increasing amounts of highly radioactive spent fuels, global warming, mass pollution, acid rain and etc. So it is important to create a better buildings for people, better products for our use and better places to inhabit. Architect and designer need to change it roles in recognition of ecology. In addition, human psychology is also part of the research because of a space might affect a persons feelings. Therefore to design a good space is not only about how good it looks but also how the space interacts with the occupants.

Westin hotels & Resorts announced that it is applying its design driven approach to its new public space design. The new lobby incorporates natural design elements. Flexible and functional and conveniently located retail grab and go areas. Westins new public space concept is currently on display at Westin Gas lamp Quarter in San Diego and will continue to roll out at participating properties worldwide throughout 2013. The Vertical Garden is a unique focal element of the new Westin lobby concept and was designed not

only to improve indoor air quality, but also to create a calming, more natural environment. Although vertical gardens exist in other boutique hotel properties, Westin is the first global brand to incorporate these structures in the lobby space throughout its global portfolio. The design team was also motivated by multiple studies of biophilia which indicate that the integration of nature into design results in a range of health benefits, including lower blood pressure, enhanced mental stamina and elevated moods. Ranging from 100 to 300 square feet, each Vertical Garden is custom-designed and integrates wallmounted plant modules with infill panels of unique textured materials inspired by the interior architecture and the locations regional identity. Experts from Ambius work with Westins Brand Design Team and the individual properties to determine which plants are best suited for their lobby space, depending on the amount of natural and artificial light, as well as the locations natural climate. Some of the systems are also designed with a UV filter, allowing for the use of grey water and therefore providing an even further positive impact to the environment over the life span of the Vertical Garden.

CONCLUSION
Interaction with nature nowadays is an innovative concept and designers are using this concept for designing stores, interiors, hotels. And designers are making it possible to live with nature in your house itself. To use space to create such environment To live in nature it is necessary to use your indoor space and create nature in that space.

Today spaces need natural material but modern outlook.
