This Christmas season for us will be lled with family dinners, wrapping presents and Christmas carols sung wildly out of tune; yet for hundreds of thousands of Congolese people, the focus this Christmas season will be simply trying to survive.! Weve never had to spend the holidays searching for a place to sleep or worrying about how to feed our families; yet in the Congo, as of September 26th of this year,

over 319,000 Congolese people have been displaced due to conict.! ! For most of these men and women this Christmas, peace is something they desire more than anything; an opportunity to return home and attempt to rebuild what they have lost.! It is for reasons like these that our hearts break for the Congolese people and why Mission Aviation

Fellowship partners with thousands of organizations working to provide food, water, shelter, medical care, and an opportunity for these men and women to start over. MAF has been in Africa for over 50 years helping to make a difference in the lives of millions. We are excited to be a part of the healing that is taking place in the Congo.

We are planning to move to Quebec shortly to learn French in preparation of moving to the DRC, yet we cannot take this next step in our ministry until we are at 100% of our required support.!
