Brochure
Date: December 6th, 2013 Course: COMM. 130 Instructor: Julie Peterson Description: This is my brochure for a company and logo that I made up. Its called Moose Creek Ski Resort. We had to make a brochure from my COMM 130 class. I used my logo that I had made for another project previously. The first picture is the front of my brochure, it has my company logo and I kept it simple with the red block and brown line. The second photo is the inside of my brochure that you open up to after admiring the front, that is where you will find most of my information on my company and what we have to offer. The third picture is my back, it has the company email address and the same red block and brown line that the front does for repetition. Programs: Text Wrangler Adobe Photoshop Objectives: Size and optimize an original logo as a .png for a web page. Write content to describe the process of creating your logo and how it appeals to a target audience. Design a web page using HTML to display a logo and content. Acquire a working knowledge of HTML and basic understanding of CSS. Identify hex colors for web design. Compress multiple files in a zipped folder to attach as one file. Process: First I began with deciding how I wanted to my brochure to fold, I chose to fold it into thirds. Then I put ruler lines in to make sure that I followed those lines. Next I placed red onto the top half of my brochure for the front and added my logo. For the inside I found some awesome pictures on Google that that helped me create a good bottom half background. Then I copied and pasted my body copies about my company to my brochure and text wrapped them around my bottom photo.
