PROFILE

Joseph Hieu Dinh is a leading social media personality and MC Host


within Western Sydney in Australia and internationally. Having a law
background, he is also a writer, marketer, entertainment consultant,
TV/online presenter of VietlishTV.

His articles and blogs have appeared extensively from Sydney’s Van
Nghe entertainment newspaper, Gach Noi Magazine (San Diego USA)
to mainstream including the ‘Music Forum’ Magazine (Music Council of
Australia). His short story ‘The Lustrous Rains of Almond’ won the 2002
Patrick J. Keegan Authorship Award.

Sydney Catholic Weekly named him Australia’s youngest


Vietnamese instituted Minister of the Acolyte. He is currently Head of
Liturgy for the Vietnamese Catholic Community in Bass Hill
(Archdiocese of Sydney).

In 2009, being personally nominated by Federal Member for Blaxland,


Jason Clare MP, the Federal Vietnamese Community in
Australia awarded him 2009 Australian Vietnamese of the Year. He
was also nominated the Bankstown Local Government’s Australia Day
Award for Citizen of the Year 2009.

Joseph is currently co-writing Vietlish episodes and a proud patron-


supporter of Vietnamese Students Association at University of Sydney.
