There was a snag8 tho/gh# Since the target was to manage the entire operations with the ) permanentl$ emplo$ed la-o/rers8 it was 3er$ important to ma&e -oth o( them m/lti-s&ill+m/lti-(/nction and (/ll$ interchangea-le E(or a n/m-er o( good reasonsF# So -oth o( them had to -e grad/all$ re-trained in the new st$le operations Eas (/ll$ descri-ed -elowF8 and -oth o( them were deepl$ in3ol3ed in the re-engineering process# The (inal o/tcome Egrad/all$ implemented in a-o/t 4 monthsF8 was as (ollows7
