Create a full-bleed design Use text boxes for layout in Word. Insert and edit images in Word. Process: First I scanned the image of the zombies, and added this to my document. I then added some circles in black and orange to give it a Halloween feel. Then I added text boxes to these circles and filled in the information for the zombie 5K. I then thought of the title and added it. After adding all of this information, I couldnt find a good font to go with the general theme, so I looked on dafont.com and downloaded a cool zombie looking font.

Brochure
Description: A two sided brochure featuring a text wrap and at least 250 words. Date: December 7th, 2013 Course/Instructor: Comm 130 Section 5 Julie Peterson Program(s)/Tools: Adobe Photoshop Adobe Indesign Adobe Illustrator Objectives: Set up and align a two-sided, folded document. Create an original company logo and use it in a brochure. Incorporate quality images. Write at least 250 words of original copy with at least three paragraphs. Process: I decided to help my aunt out with her caramel business by making a brochure. I received pictures from her and wrote out an introduction letter to any costumers who might be interested in buying caramels. Then I found that she already had a logo but I would need to make my own for this class. So I took some of the same colors she used in her original logo and made up a new text logo. Then I decided on a gateway fold for my brochure, thinking to be different and to be able to showcase the logo, and the company. Then I wrote up the price list for the caramels and decided on the background color. I then placed everything in my brochure but I had forgotten about my text wrap. So I took an original image and cut out the glass holding the caramel and used that in my brochure and put the text wrap around it. I then printed out the brochure and it took awhile to align the logo and cut it out.
