Whats new at the library?

To use public computers, adults must show a

picture ID with proof of age that will be held at the computer desk. Children must present a valid library card that will be held at the Junior or Teen desk.

Two computers on the second floor near the

Reference Desk are designated for exploration of the new Affordable Care Act website. checked out for one week. The overdue fee remains at $2.00 per day. Lucky Day DVDs and CDs may be checked out for three days with an overdue fee of $2.00 per day. for two weeks. Overdue fine remains $1.00 per day.

Family Unit computers in Youth Services for one session of no more than 30 minutes per day, as long as children remain with them at the computers. Non-residents may utilize the Family Unit computers for a $3.00 fee. session per day, regardless of location.

Help! How does this tablet work?


If you received or purchased a tablet during the holiday season, we have a number of classes and special services to help you learn how to use your new device. Weve added new Drop-In Sessions to answer your questions and provide one-on-one assistance. See page 6 for details. You can download free magazines to your tablet from our Zinio collection. Titles such as Rachel Ray Everyday, Us, Martha Stewart Living, Readers Digest, and many others are available. Downloadable books featuring best-selling fiction, classics, and non-fiction titles are also available free through OverDrive and 3M Cloud. Page 6 features a variety of classes on how to use these free services. In addition, tech-savvy teen volunteers are available Monday-Friday from 4-8 p.m. for one-onone tutoring to help with basic cell phone, email, or fundamental computer skills. Collector Joan Barnes displays her collection of vintage miniature statues, room vignettes, small houses, and furniture pieces.

Everyone who registers will receive a chance to win prizes in a random drawing. When you register, you will receive a bookmark and log to track good reads. After you read four books, turn in your log to receive a prize and an additional chance to win prizes.

Receive a ticket to win prizes each time you read four books. The more you read, the more chances you have to win! Blizzard Bonus: Six lucky adults will be chosen during a weekly drawing for an autographed book from author visits.

Help with computers and earn community service hours. Duties include releasing print jobs and assisting children and teens with basic Internet and Microsoft Office questions. Volunteers must be able to commit to one shift a week for 4 weeks.
