Engineering graduates from our range of disciplines including aerospace, motorsport, mechanical, electronic and robotics secure graduate employment in a diverse range of industry sectors and roles, including automotive and aeronautical design, mechanical, electronic, production and process engineering. Employers include multinational and prominent UK companies, SMEs, research and development organisations and the public sector. Our product design graduates are well prepared to enter into careers either in employment or as an entrepreneur. Some graduates have set up their own businesses to develop their product or service designs. Others have gained employment in a range of design, marketing, media and engineering organisations both here in the UK and abroad.

Our mathematics and statistics graduates enter a variety of careers, usually those requiring numeracy skills, such as data and statistical analysis, nancial and marketing roles in both the private and public sectors. The contribution of placements and other forms of work experience to increase graduate employability cannot be emphasised enough. We know from surveying these graduates with relevant experience that they are more likely to enter employment at graduate level and on a higher salary. A proportion of graduates go on to full-time further study in areas related to their rst degree such as Engineering and Mathematics, and some progress into teacher training, most commonly for secondary maths.
