As far as I know, you are free to use and modify any of these files as long as y ou give credit to their original artists. You are free to use my bitmaps in any way, as they are all my original work and I really don't care too much... I'm not gonna copyright them. However, please give me credit for the dll and explorer files and smart folder i f you post a variation of them. Thanks! Please send me a note on DA with any bug reports. Some elements of Windows will still be present, such as some icons and bitmaps. However, anything that the shell32.dll misses can usually be replaced using the Icontweaker theme I posted a link to on my resourc e page. 3. Disablerollback registry keys

It is very important that you merge these keys with your registry prior to insta lling the rest of these files. If you do not do so, Windows will return your shell32.dll to its original state the next time Automatic Updates runs. Following the instructions in the r ead me file provide with the keys, install them before proceeding any further. 4. rer Shell32.dll, themeui.dll, msgina.dll, mydocs.dll, xpsp1res.dll and explo a. WIndows file protection: I. Windows XP Service Pack 2 For Windows XP SP 2, you can use the Windows File protection swi tcher (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Windows-File-Protection-Sw itcher/1106499902/1). II. Windows XP Service Pack 3 For machines running SP 3, the process is much more complicated, but this is guaranteed to work, unlike the File protection switcher app. Follow the steps at the following link to disable windows file protection: http://www.msfn.org/board/Disable-XP-SFC-WFP-Works-With-SP3-t110 834.html b. To use explorer:

After these steps are done, simply navigate to your C:\WINDOWS directory and rename your explorer.exe. Name it something like "explorer_original.exe." Then, co py and paste the explorer that is included in this pack in to your C:\WINDOWS directory. c. sgina.dll To use shell32.dll, themeui.dll, mydocs.dll, xpsp1res.dll, and m

FOr shell32.dll, msgina.dll, mydocs.dll, xpsp1res.dll and themeui.dll, t he steps are similar. Navigate to the C:\WINDOWS\system32 directory. Find and rename the original shell32.dll , msgina.dll, mydocs.dll, xpsp1res.dll, and themeui.dll. After that, copy and paste files included in this pack in to your C:\WINDOWS\system32 folder. After this is done, restart your computer to see the changes. If your i cons on your system do not change, run the icon refresh utility included with this download. You may delete your original system files after this if you wish. However, I would STR ONGLY recommend saving backups of the original files someplace else, like an external hard dri ve or CD-RW so you can revert at any time. D. Leopard System Tray for XP

See the read me file in the Leopard System Tray for XP folder for direct

ions on installing and using it. 5. To use Mac Sounds:

You can either copy and paste the folder in to your C:\WINDOWS\Media folder, or place it wherever you want. Just go to Control panel\sounds and create a mac scheme using the sou nds. Leopard by default does not use all of these sounds, however you can pick and choose the ones you want to use when you make your scheme. 6. Findexer icon:

See the "about this icon" document in the icon's folder. 7. More information:
