NOVEMBER 2013

Giving Thanks
In the month of November, millions of families across America celebrate Thanksgiving. The Castro family was not exclude from this holiday of giving thanks and rejoicing on the many blessings in our lives. Yes, we spent time together with family. Yes, we spent the whole day cooking and then enjoying the fruits of our labor. And yes, we watch some football! However, the most time spent during this past month leading into this holiday was thanking the Lord for the many individuals, families, and churches that are partnering with the college ministry we are a part of through financial support and prayer. As college missionaries, we will only be able to preach the Gospel and make disciples full time when there is a multitude of people supporting us by using their time, resources, and treasures. Currently, there are many people who are supporting us so one day we can begin to accomplish our vision of seeing college students living in victory over sin, living out a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and changing the culture around them with the power of the Gospel. I am reminded of 1 Thessalonians 5:18 which says, In all things, give thanks In our short history of transitioning into college ministry, we have witnessed Gods grace and provision in our lives. While not everything has been easy, we are thankful for all God is doing in our midst and for people like you who continue to encourage, pray, and stand with us. We are truly thankful for everyone who is financially assisting and praying for us. Our partners are the reason that we will be able to present the Gospel to a student, have a Bible study on campus, equip students to minister, have outreaches, and ultimately help young people grow in their Christian walk. For us to accomplish raising our partnership team so we can be on campus full time For me to show the love of Jesus and to be a witness of God at Subway on campus As a new student group on campus, for us to connect with students FINANCIAL PARTNERSHIP: Tax deductible gifts payable to Every Nation Ministries, P.O. Making History
With their own strength, a student organization on a college campus can only go so far to enhance the lives of students. However, a student organization can meet the spiritual needs of the campus only when Jesus Christ is the driving principle behind this group. It is our pleasure to announce that we have officially become a recognized Every Nation Campus Ministries chapter on the University of Cincinnati! This is so critical because it allows us more access to provide ministry to students and use facilities on campus for outreaches and other meetings and events. On a campus with 43,000+ students, the harvest is certainly plentiful. Step by step, we are preparing to give ourselves fully over to reaching the next generation with the transforming power of the Gospel!
