Triple Jump is an independent responsible investment manager focused on impact investing in emerging markets. We are headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands with regional offices in Georgia, Peru and Mexico and a new regional office in the process of being established in Bangkok. Our investment portfolio spans more than 60 countries. Triple Jump targets financial sector development and invests in institutions that service the bottom of the pyramid. Triple Jump offers professional fund management services to investors, ranging from asset selection, to portfolio management to fund administration. Thanks to mandates from multiple investors Triple Jump can provide services to financial intermediaries in all stages of their development. Triple Jump investees (often referred to as Microfinance Institutions or MFIs) range from NGOs receiving their first funding, all the way to regulated banks which intermediate savings and serve hundreds of thousands of borrowers in developing countries. As Portfolio Analyst (PA) you will support a team of Investment Officers (IO) with the identification, appraisal, processing, legal documentation and supervision of loans, guarantees and/or equity investments to MFIs. Place of work is Bangkok, Thailand, and the job will include some travel mainly to Southeast Asian and South Asian countries. If successful, you will be offered a permanent position after the 1 year contract. As a Portfolio Analyst, you will later on have the possibility to be offered a position as Junior Investment Officer or Investment Officer.
REQUIREMENTS:
An economics or finance oriented education at least at a bachelor level; Two years of working experience in an investment manager, MFI, a development bank, or a commercial bank are considered an important additional asset; Familiarity or willingness to become familiarized with issues of development co-operation in a cross cultural context; Diligence and strong analytical skills; Demonstrable communication and reporting skills; Results orientation, team player with ability to work in a dynamic environment; Profound knowledge of English, both verbal and writing. Knowledge of regional languages is also a plus; Willingness to travel; Applicants must be citizens of Thailand. CFA charterholder or CFA candidates an advantage.
