Silver Army Background


&he Silvers are made of %lastic covered in silver( which ma.es them all armoured to some e2tent. &hose who were already well armoured become almost indestructible when covered in silver. &he Silvers cannot remove their armour( as their %lastic is encased in it. &his %rocess can be Euite %ainful if the %lastic recruit is still alive while the hot silver is %oured over them. &he Silvers hail from Plastic S%ace on a world called &he !ift; a world made entirely out of silver( where a series of %ortals e2ist that can trans%ort the Silver Army across the /ala2y to different territories of the Plastic )orld which are not formally %art of any of the -ations. &he &ime <ords are led by -ic. Minnit and his directive is e2%andin/ the dominion of &he !ift to ma.e all worlds silver by recruitin/ %lastic soldiers from other worlds and coatin/ them in silver.

A Silver Battle
A lar/e com%any of Silvers( boastin/ *99 Silver Astronaut Fombies and 49 Silver Commandos( ste%%ed throu/h a %ortal on &he !ift and found themselves in a roc.y desert on the outs.irts of a =reen Cowboy town. &he Silver Commandos headed out to sco%e out the town and could see a ra/in/ battle between the *'* =reen Cowboy defenders( festooned with Shot/uns( Pistols and !ifles( and the *'' 6lue Cowboys on the /round with similar armaments. &he 6lue 7e%uties rec.lessly char/ed into the =reen buildin/s firin/ re%eatedly from their %istols before bein/ /unned down by =reen Marshals. &he 6lues %inned down in many %laces( ta.in/ cover in the buildin/s below and the ones they had ta.en over while %atchin/ u% their wounded from bullet and shell wounds. &he Silver Astronaut Fombies lumbered towards the town( be/innin/ with the 6lue Cowboys in the /round buildin/s( brea.in/ throu/h doors( smashin/ windows and /roanin/ all the while. &he 6lue Cowboys fired shot after shot at them( even as they were rushed( but to little effect and the Astronaut Fombies

feasted on their %lastic cor%ses. &he Silver Commandos started %ic.in/ the =reen Cowboy !iflemen out of the roofto%s with their assault rifles and too. little dama/e from their return fire. &he Commandos were a little too heavy from their silver coatin/ to dod/e every shot but they continued their advance nonetheless. &he Silver Astronaut Fombies be/an climbin/ u% the stairs to some =reen Marshals( who %um%ed round after round into them( blowin/ chun.s of silver out of the Fombies( but they %ressed on and several went down as they clawed and bit the =reen Marshals to the last %lastic man. &he 6lue Cowboys and =reen Cowboys were now alarmed enou/h to concentrate their fire on the Silvers instead of each other( but it was all too late. &here were still %lenty of Astronaut Fombies and the Silver Commandos s%at out a fusillade of %lastic bullets to cover their advance. &he 6lues barely had time to %atch u% their wounded before the Fombies were u%on them( ma.in/ their medical technolo/y Euite obsolete. &he =reen Cowboys rarely missed their mar. and made a dent in the Silver Army( even in close combat( but they were %ulled down and chom%ed as well. )hen the dust settled( a %lastic tumbleweed blew by and ,4 Silver Astronaut Fombies and *@ Silver Commandos were still alive and still hard as nails. &he Silver Commandos reloaded their wea%ons and %atched each other u% with silver( li.e lifesavin/ /lue for them while the Silver Fombies made sure to bite every =reen and 6lue Cowboy. )ithin a few hours the enemy Cowboys came bac. to unlife and were coated in a motion disablin/ silver( melted down and then made into Silver Cowboys than.s to some Moulds which were sent throu/h the %ortal. &he invasion of the Silver Army had be/un( and this was only one of many fronts that they had o%ened u% in their war on the Plastic )orld. &he Silvers turned the whole town into Silver( includin/ that tumbleweed( and left a detachment of Silver Cowboys to defend it.
