The upside down house!


This upside down house is located in Trassenheide,Germany. The furniture inside this house is actually stuck to the ceiling. This house was built on September 4th 2008,and was finished in August 2009 The architects of this house are Polish partners, Klaudiusz Golos and Sebastian Mikiciuk.

The Haines Shoe House


This house was built in 1948. The house is a wood frame structure covered with wire lath and coated with a cement stucco. The length is 48ft, the width is 17ft,and 25 ft. high up. In this house there are five different levels, and there is 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room. It was originally built for guests, and after the first year elderly couples were always invited there to stay for the weekend and live the kinds and queens at Haines expense.

An old church!
This is house is located in san Francisco, ca. Its 17,000sq.ft., known has one of the largest single homes in the city. This living room features a coffered, hand painted ceiling with seven enormous chandeliers, stained glass windows. The meditation room and the deck is of 360 degree view of the city.

A round house.
This house is located in wilton,ct. The architect for this house is Richard T. Foster. Its 12 feet off the ground, and has the ability to rotate slowly 360 degrees. It takes about 50 minutes to complete its rotation. This house is made of steel, glass, and shingles.

The geodesic home!


These kind of houses were very popular back in the 1960s and the 70s. This house contains many, angels. this house is on about 20 acres. These kind of houses are hurricane resistant, and they can be all different shapes and sizes.

The leaf house


The architect of this house are the marines. The roof of this house is suppose to look like a giant flower, with six petals. All of the petals cover a different part of the home, suck has the bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and the dining room.

The nautilus.
This house is located in Mexico city. It was completed in 2006. The stone steps running along the shrubs lead to the front door which blends into the mosaci faade. The architect of this house is Javier Sensonian. - this house was created to imitate a crustaceans shell.

The siding house.


This house was built by Londonbased dRRM architects. The 20 ton outer shell of this home can be retracted in six minutes, showing a second, mostly glass, the inner part of the house. The power for this house comes from four 12 volt batteries which runs a motor that pulls small wheels, and is built into the timber shell, along an old set of railway tracks. Cause of this, it gives the owner of the house control over how the house combines with the environment that surrounds it and they can also make adjustments as the temperate changes throughout the year.

The Winchester mystery house.


The architects began on building this house in 1884, and lasted through 1922. When the owner/designer Sarah Winchester died, everyone that was working on the house stopped it, and when that happened they had 161 acres, but over time it reduced to just four acres, that they had left. Sarah was never really a blueprint person, so she used the on-the-fly design strategy. When the house was completed, it was supposed to have 40 bedrooms, 3 elevators, 47 fireplaces, 17 chimneys, and 467 doorways. The house originally had 7 levels , but because of an earthquake in 1906, collapsed 3 of them.
