Document Purpose
Employees who have access will be able to create new reports in OBIEE using this document.
The URL is also located in the Fort Home Page under Quick Links as BI Dashboards

Screenshot Once logged in, click on the New Tab, maneuver to Analysis and pick a Subject Area of your choice
Note: Only Subject Areas youve been granted access to will be visible

# Instructions 4 Select Columns specific for your Report and Add filters as needed
Screenshot The Columns will be on the left hand side under the Subject Areas section, drill into each subject area to pick a column specific for your report
Then: Drag and drop your columns into the Selected Columns section
To Add Filters: In the Selected Columns section under each column is the drop down button to the right hand side, click on the drop down select Filters and change filter to your preference

What is a view and describe it, look at the binder? To Change the View, in the bottom left hand corner under the Views section click the New View button
Youll get a drop down of different views, the drop down also includes the filter view 6 Bar Graph Example Click on the Bar Graph view, to get the graph in the results

Screenshot To Merge all the views you created for example the bar graph, the table, and the filters. Click on the New Views button, then other views, and then the view selector option
Add All your views to the View Selector and press done, go back to results and drag and drop the View Selector view from the Views section onto your table and then delete the original table and keep the view selector one Add a title and Subtitle to your report by click on The Title tab above the table and then clicking on the pencil icon to edit. Tip: Consider using the run date for your sub-title so that when you print or send someone a copy of the report you have a record of what date the data is as of.

Screenshot Save the report by clicking the floppy disk icon to the right hand side next to the question mark icon. Make sure to save the report under the My Folder tab.
