The LÜRSSEN Group in Bremen is

internationally known for the design and
construction of ships of the highest quality.
The Fr. LÜRSSEN Werft was founded in 1875
by Friedrich Lürßen and it has been a family
undertaking ever since. The present owners
are Friedrich and Peter Lürßen, great-
grandson of the shipyard's founder who
manage the globally operating LÜRSSEN
Group.

Under its roof, the LÜRSSEN Group has more

than 1200 employees. The group comprises
Friedrich Fr. LÜRSSEN Werft , Kröger Werft,
Neue Jade-Werft, LÜRSSEN Logistics and
others and has for decades been one of the
most important partners of the Federal
LÜRSSEN in Bremen / Germany
German Navy having delivered more than 400
boats and ships.

The product portfolio of these firms range

from fast patrol boats and corvettes to
frigates as well as modern mine hunting
and clearance vessels, public service
vessels, supply and auxiliary ships up to
20,000 tons. The LÜRSSEN Group's
capability of integrating complex systems
such as fire control and defence systems as
well as helicopters onto compact fast patrol
boats and corvettes is unique.

The necessary logistic components such as

documentation, spare parts supply and
technical and operational training are
provided by LÜRSSEN Logistics.
The Kröger Yard at Kiel Canal
LÜRSSEN Logistics maintains its own
training centre in Lemwerder with residential accommodation, classrooms, laboratories and
simulators.

LÜRSSEN is known as a pioneer of semi – displacement hulls and their consequent light
construction techniques, both basic conditions in order to achieve high speed with optimum
sea-going capabilities. The shipyard's reputation of building fast and high-performance ships
applies not only to naval vessels but also anywhere else in ship construction where high
speed and optimum sea-going capabilities are required. This is of special importance for the
yachts, lifesaving vessels, customs and coastguard boat as well as single hull ferries in

LÜRSSEN's range of products. The consequent utilisation of technical achievements

between the various naval and civilian construction programmes permanently ensures
LÜRSSEN's leading position in the global market.

The design building and air-conditioned

building and fitting-out sheds are located on
a site of about 225,000 m² on the banks of
the Weser opposite the main administration
block, the LÜRSSEN Group's head office.
Since 1999 on taking over the large covered
dock and workshops from Bremer Vulkan,
LÜRSSEN has been able to build and fit-out
ships of up to 170 m length and 25,000 tdw
completely under cover unaffected by outer
environmental conditions. LÜRSSEN also
owns a 220 m long floating dock since
Corvette K 130 for the German Navy
autumn 2004. Fr. LÜRSSEN Werft is
therefore in addition to development also
best equipped to deal with the construction and modernisation of large ships such as the
new corvettes and frigates of the Federal German Navy.

Kröger Werft in Rendsburg has belonged to the LÜRSSEN Group from the 1980s as a
daughter undertaking. Kröger Werft has much experience in the design, construction and
repair merchant shipping, supply ships, public service vessels and also mega yachts.
Amongst other items, the 702 class supply ships "Berlin" and "Frankfurt am Main" were
fitted-out and delivered from Kröger Werft.

LÜRSSEN Yachts has built up a

magnificent reputation by the building of
high-value 40 to 150 m mega yachts. They
are built exclusively in accordance with the
owner's wishes. The combination of
constant innovation over the previous 130
years, high quality and the committed and
discrete staff, especially with regard to
close co-operation with owners, are much
appreciated by the customers. Having
more than 100 engineers, LÜRSSEN
Yachts is in the position of meeting the big
challenges of their demanding customers.

As well as building new yachts, the

LÜRSSEN Group is a reliable partner in
the areas of repair refitting and
modifications. These items can be
carried out either directly at a
LÜRSSEN Group shipyard or by service
works wherever the yacht is located. It
does not matter where the yacht is, a
specially trained mobile service team
can carry out the work.
