Thanksgiving Even though the world strives to push the day out of our thoughts Thanksgiving is still our favorite time of the year. We are thankful to have spent this time with family and friends. We have been reflecting back on the times the Lord has provided for our needs since we have begun in this ministry. We have had travel expenses, mechanical expenses, medical expenses, housing expenses, ministry expenses to name a few. We are humbled and thankful to recall how many times the Lord has provided through the faithful giving of His saints. Our needs have been met far beyond daily bread and raiment and numerous other specific provisions have also been supplied. We are thankful for the Lords work in us and in the people of PNG through the ministry of his word as well as the opportunities we have had to preach and witness while here in the States. We are so thankful for the part the Lord allows us to have in this ministry and for your faithful collaboration in giving and prayer. Special Meeting December 19-21 Haniak Bible Baptist Church will be having a revival meeting and ask that you be in prayer with them for this time. Pastor Willie has asked a guest preacher to come and is hoping for a time of reviving for the church members. We are glad to see Pastor Willies concern for his congregation and willingness to do the extra work to have a meeting like this. He has been faithful in the work there and we hope this will revive him as well. Pray for prepared people, powerful preaching, and proper results during this time.

Return The longer we are away the more we keep thinking of to do on our return. We do ask you to pray as we hope to be on our way to PNG in early 2014. We are looking into routes and tickets and seek the Lords direction in these details as we plan the trip back. Vehicle I received an email about a vehicle for sale in PNG. It is owned by a former New Tribes Missionary and as such should be in decent mechanical condition. It is an older vehicle (1992) but it has low miles for its age and is within our price range. The cost does reflect the normal high price for vehicles in PNG but buying it already in country means we wont have to go through the process of importing one ourselves. This would save time and money in the long run! Please pray for the Lords will concerning this vehicle. Personal On a personal note I would ask that you pray specifically for our children. I have been able recently to talk to some missionary children who just came back to the states and are in bible school. These kids are not just facing the challenges of being on their own for the first time but are also trying to adjust to the foreign culture of America. If the Lord tarries our children will face similar circumstances and we pray for the Lords preparation in their lives. Missionary families and children do face some peculiar challenges and I ask that you will be in prayer for ours and theirs! In Christ, Joseph, Amy, William, Ian
