CYME ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM SIMULATION SOFTWARE BUNDLE FOR ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS
CYME is a comprehensive analysis tool for industrial, distribution and transmission power systems.
The CYME Power Engineering software is a suite of applications composed of a network editor, analysis modules and user-customizable model libraries to choose from the most powerful solution. CYME aims at offering this special bundle to technical universities, engineering colleges and technical institutions at a very special price thereby allowing the students/instructors to experience the worlds leading electrical power system simulation package to solve engineering queries and also to face the real time applications problems.
All above modules of 50 bus capacity and 5 user concurrent network license One year annual maintenance and support Free upgrades/revision within the annual maintenance support period Online support Training materials & work guide

The CYME power engineering software features CYMFAULT, a short circuit analysis module dedicated to calculating shortcircuit currents in three-phase electric power systems. CYMFAULT adheres to International IEC-60909 guidelines and North American ANSI C37.5, ANSI C37.010, ANSI C37.13 standards. It also supports conventional short-circuit studies without reference to any particular standards.
CYMSTAB is the transient stability module of the CYME power engineering software dedicated to simulating electromechanical transients in balanced and unbalanced electrical power systems. CYMSTAB utilizes the simultaneous implicit trapezoidal integration solution technique for network, machine and controller equations. The program supports the capability to test the step response of controllers and user dened modeling for system equipment and controllers.
CYMVSTAB is the analysis module is dedicated for the voltage security assessment of power systems. In planning and operating todays stressed power systems, the ability to maintain voltage stability has become a growing concern. CYMVSTAB is designed to meet this challenge by assessing the ability of the power system to maintain stable voltages under different contingencies and loading conditions. Power system voltage instability is related to the lack of reactive power resources in the network. This is very similar to frequency instability in transient stability studies for systems that do not have sufcient spinning reserve.
6. AC CONTINGENCY ANALYSIS:
The AC CONTINGENCY operates in conjunction with CYMFLOW for Power-Flow related contingency analysis. The contingency module is structured so that an unlimited number of what-if scenarios can be included in a given contingency study. E.g. modication of loads & generation, connection & disconnection of branches & buses, addition and removal of induction and synchronous motors.
CYMOPF, the Optimal Power Flow analysis module of PSAF, supplements the analytical capability of PSAF by allowing the user to engage in advanced system planning studies to optimize system performance, examine cost-efcient operational planning alternatives, articulate system control strategies and rationalize equipment utilization, resulting in better overall system asset management. It features a number of analysis, including frequency scan, voltage distortion and current distortion calculations on balanced and unbalanced systems; and covers both single phase and full three-phase modeling capabilities. CYMHARMO includes a number of analysis, including frequency scan, voltage distortion and current distortion calculations on balanced and unbalanced systems. CYMHARMO allows the user to easily detect resonant frequencies due to capacitor banks, and to model non-linear loads and other sources of harmonic currents such as converters and arc furnaces. These capabilities make it possible to evaluate the impact of non-linear loads on the electrical network.
