Medium.sized and large MV asynchronous (induction) motors (motors started direct on line, 50 Hz or 60 Hz) Back-up protection of or integrated in protection schemes for synchronous motors Circuit-breaker and contactor controlled drives Feeder cables, power transformers and other requiring thermal overload protection and functionality included in the relay

Easy to install and handle Automatic short-circuiting of CT secondaries Communication maintained even when relay unit withdrawn Mechanical coding for identification of plug-in unit

Height 4U (~177 mm) Depth behind the panel only about 150 mm (100 mm possible!) Easy mounting - no loose mounting accessories Both compression type connection and ring-lug terminal connection of CT secondary wires IP 54 degree of protection by enclosure of the relay case when flush-mounted.

Inputs

4 analog inputs for current measurement (IL1, IL2, IL3 and I0) 6 RTD inputs in two groups available with optional RTD module

RTD types can be mixed in the same module, e.g. Pt-100 and Ni-120 2 thermistor (PTC) inputs can be used instead of RTDs RTDs and PTCs can be mixed, e.g. up to 4 RTDs + 2 PTCs

2 binary inputs (+ 3 additional in the optional RTD module)

Output contacts

3 heavy-duty contacts capable of operating a circuit-breaker 2 freely assignable signalling contacts 1 pre-assigned signalling contact for IRF alarm
