AP Forest Department Recruitment 2012 Notification has been released atforest.ap.nic.in.

Applications are invited from the candidates who meet the eligibility for the posts of Forest Section Officer (FSO), Forest Beat Officer (FBO), Assistant Beat Officer (ABO), Thanadar, Bungalow watcher, Plantation watcher. For every job in AP Forest Department have their own eligibility criteria. The following are the Educational qualifications of each post that are mentioned in AP Forest Department Recruitment 2012 Notification.

Forest Section Officer (FSO) - Total Posts 05 Candidate should be awarded a Bachelor Degree in the field of Botany/ Forestry/ Horticulture/ Zoology/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistic/ Geology/ Agriculture. If the candidate got his/her degree in engineering from any one of the department Chemical/ Mechanical/ Civil can apply for AP Forest Department Recruitment 2012. Forest Beat Officer (FBO) - Available Posts 140 Applying candidates should have the qualification as Intermediate Passed or its Equivalent will be considered. Assistant Beat Officer (ABO - 154 Posts), Thanadar(15 Posts), Bungalow watcher(19 Posts), Plantation watcher(2 Posts) Minimum educational eligibility for the above post was the candidate must have passed his Tenth Class or its equivalent.

The pay scale and physical requirements are available from the notification which was published at www.forest.ap.nic.in. There was a age limit to apply for the particular post. The applicant age should be between 18 30 years as on 01.07.2012. However there was an exception for SC / ST / BC max age limit shall be 35 years.

Totally there are 3 papers where Paper 1 will be Essay writing in English or Telugu or Urdu(20 Marks), Paper 2 was General knowledge(100 Marks) and Paper 3 comprises of General Mathematics for 100 Marks.

Eligible Candidates have to submit the AP Forest Department Application form in prescribed format by downloading the form from forest.ap.nic.in or download here. The filled application should reach the concerned officer on or before 23-04-2012. Download Notification Qualifying Mark

Minimum Qualifying mark for AP Forest Department Recruitment 2012 was 35% in every subject and 40% should be scored by the candidate in written exam. The members who are qualified in first stage will be allowed to next stage of selection which is a walking test. Question papers will be in both English and Telugu languages except for Draughtsman Gr-II Civil paper.
