CREATING AND EDITING A DOCUMENT AIM: To study about find, replace, cut, copy, paste, undo, redo options.

PROCEDURE: i) FIND AND REPLACE OPTIONS. FIND OPTION: Find option is used to search a text in the document. Step 1: Open an existing Word document or start a new document and type the text. Step 2: Select Find option from !dit menu or press "T#$%F to open the Find dialog box Step 3: !nter a word in Find what box which we want to search. Step 4: Word searches for the text we entered and displays the results by highlighting the text. REPLACE OPTION: #eplace option is used to search a text and replace with a new text in the document. Step 1: Open an existing Word document or start a new document and type the text. Step 2: Select #eplace option from !dit menu or press "T#$%& to open the Find and #eplace dialog box Step 3: !nter a word in Find what box which we want to replace with new word. Step 4: Type a new word in #eplace with box. Step 5: "lic' #eplace button a(ailable on Find and #eplace dialog box and we will see first occurrence of the searched word would be replaced with the replace with word. ii) CUT, COPY, PASTE OPTIONS. CUT !" PASTE OPTION: "ut operation will cut the content from its original place and mo(e the content from its original location to a new desired location. COPY AND PASTE OPTION: "opy operation will -ust copy the content from its original place and create a duplicate copy of the content at the desired location without deleting the text from it.s the original location. Step #: We can repeat the paste operation as many times as we li'e to paste the same content. iii) UNDO AND REDO OPTIONS /ndo cancels the last command and #edo repeats the last commands.
