Courses:

The most common mistakes usually students do while filling applications are:

Part time:
International students are allowed to work for up to 20 hours a week during term time and full-time during holidays.

Visa Process:
1. Any student who is looking for a Student Visa need to obtain 40 points under

Visa Letter issued from Universities (registered in UK Border Agency Sponsor Register) will give the student 30 points. Poof of funds required for study and living in UK as stated by Border Agency will make the student eligible to get another 10 points and thus obtain visa. 2. Evaluation and Acceptance of academic criteria for any given course by University is completely University reasonability. 3. Visa Letter from university shall mention the course, tuition fee and payment received towards tuition fee advance and explains the evaluation criteria for accepting the student. 4. Cost of living to be demonstrated is as follows: Living within London Boroughs require GBP 1000 per month if the course duration is less than 9 months and only GBP 9000 if the course duration is more than 9 months.

 Living outside London requires GBP 800 per month if the course duration is less than 9 months and only GBP 7200 if the course duration is more than 9 months. 5. Students who are enrolling for hospitality and healthcare related courses need to get their medicals done if the visa officer is willing to issue the visa. The process of completing the medicals may take up to one month 6. Student can start applying for Visa from 3 months before Course commencement date. And is eligible to travel before 30 days of Course start date.

Applying for Visa:

In order to apply for a visa to study in the UK, applicants have to make an application under Tier 4 Students category (as applicable from 31st March 2009) of the new Points-based system.

Visa Application Form isVAF 9 . Visa Application Fee is 298. Book an Appointment: 1. With effect from Monday 5 March 2012 all UK visa applicants need to complete the visa application form online. Manually completed applications will no longer be accepted. 2. At the same time, you are also required to make an online appointment to attend a visa application centre to submit your application. 3. Please print a hard copy of your visa application and bring this, with all supporting documentation, to your appointment at the visa application centre. 4. Please note that once you have completed your application form online, only small manual amendments to this form will be accepted for submission at the visa application centre. 5. To apply for a UK visa and schedule an appointment online please go to http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/ApplyNow.aspx. 6. Please print the email confirming the details of your appointment, and bring this with you to the visa application centre you have chosen to attend. 7. You should reach the visa application centre 5 minutes before your appointment time. 8. The appointment must be made in your name. Another person cannot attend your scheduled appointment. 9. When you attend the visa application centre, you will need to provide your biometric information, which includes a photograph and a digital scan of your fingerprints.

10. Every applicant who is submitting a visa application must attend the visa application centre in person.
