The material is gorgeous and elegant and I LOVE the sash. It looks amazing with a cute pair heels. Would definitely recommend this dress for anyone, especially petite women.

Pros: beautiful dress and compliments any body type, the picture doesn't do its justice. All night long my guests kept telling me how beautiful the dress is! Cons: Too many layers, very hot, even without a slip. A nightmare for alteration if you are a petite bride. Difficult to walk in, somewhat messed up our dance routine. Very fragile fabric, catches dirt easily. Quite heavy.All in all, still worth it.

I purchased this gown for my outdoor wedding last year. During part of the ceremony we were in canoes, so I needed a gown without a train; which was hard to find. I liked the lightness of the material, the simple lines and details. I'm 5'8" and about 135 lbs., ended up getting a size 4 which fit perfectly. No complaints other than the gown was rather long and I had to have about 4 inches removed from the bottom so the hem hit just below my ankles. Was very pleased with my purchase!

HOW TO MEASURE
When you place your order, youll be asked to fill in your measurements. This provides our seamstresses with much more detail than a standard dress size. To take your measurements accurately, follow these tips: Use a fabric tape measure. A metal tape measure can buckle and bend, causing your measurements to be slightly too big. Keep the tape measure taught, but dont stretch it tight. Wear the same undergaments and shoes that you plan to wear on your wedding day. Keep your feet 6 inches apart. Have a friend help you take your measurements. These are the figures well need, along with instructions about how to take each measurement. a) Bust: This is not the same as your bra size. Instead, this is a measurement of the largest part of your bust. Keep your arms at your side during this measurement. b) Sleeve: Bend your arm at a 90 degree angle and put your hand on your hip. Measure from your shoulder. down your arm and stop at your wrist. c) Waist: This is your natural waistline, typically found an inch or two above your belly button. Dont suck in your waist, although you may be tempted to. You want to be able to breathe on your wedding day. d) Hips: This is a measurement of the fullest part of your hips. e) Hollow to hem: Place the measure at the base of your neck and stop to measure where you'd like the hem to stop.
