* These polyglass banding tapes are constructed of high tensile, moisture resistant glass yarn laid parallel, impregnated and bonded with polyester resin. They are supplied in B stage, i.e. semi cured. After heat curing, i.e. in C stage, the tape forms a hard, rigid and springy high tensile homogenous mixture of glass and resin which is void free. This cured mass greatly improves heat dissipation factor. * Applications: They are used to replace steel banding of all types of armatures including traction motors, AC motors, coil of DC motor, large generators and banding of dry type & resin moulded type transformer. * CAUTION: Due to its B stage nature, polyglass tape should be stored in low temperature environment, and brought back to room temperature before use. Its shelf life is approximately 6 months at 20C and 12 months at 10C.
