8.52 "(Deeds) like the people of Pharaoh and of those before them did the! re"e#ted the $i%ns of &llah and &llah p'nished them for their #rimes for &llah is stron% and stri#t in p'nishment

Be made them "b%t$ leaders in!iting to the Fire1 and on the Day o& A%dgment no help shall they &ind- 92#-3K + 2#-I1; The arrogance o& the (haraohs is well doc%mented {(}- They en*oyed the wealth and power gi!en by Allah- As a res%lt they &elt that they had power o!er li&e and death- 'nstead o& being grate&%l and discharging their responsibilities in a *%st manner, they oppressed the ?hildren o& 'srael and they re*ected the in!itation o& Loses- There&ore, Loses prayed against them3 Loses prayed3 D7%r 8ordC Mo% ha!e indeed bestowed on (haraoh and his ?hie&s splendor and wealth in the li&e o& the present and so o%r 8ord they mislead "men$ away &rom Mo%- 7%r 8ord, de&ace the &eat%res o& their wealth and send hardness to their hearts so they will not belie!e %ntil they see the grie!o%s (enalty-D 910-##; Allah granted the prayer o& Loses, as @e points o%t,
