Term Project

This project consists of a brief research paper that addresses a topic relevant to course objectives which will allows students to obtain more in depth understanding of their favourite part of the course. This is a team work (groups of up to 8 students) and students will have a chance to use some class time on Mondays and/or ridays (T!") to work on their project. The entire project is worth #$% of the course grade& which includes peer evaluation that act as a factor that determines your individual mark. Poster Preparation Guidelines The poster must' !e prepared in a physical format. There are no format restrictions& e.g.& a foldable pamphlet& word document& portable poster& ( in no more than e)uivalent of #* pages (e+cluding references and appendices)& are acceptable. !e submitted by November 25th. ,ate submissions will not be considered. -iscuss current research on the topic of interest. .f relevant& also& any /authoritative statements0 by relevant agencies& such as -ietitians of 1anada& 1anadian -iabetes "ssociation& should be described (e.g.& 2osition 3tands& 1onsensus 3tatements& etc.). .nclude references& using a standard bibliographic format (preferably "2"). !e carefully proofread for spelling and grammar.
