AeroScale :: Biplane Assembly Jig

I bought mine for less than 20 Euros on Modelimex here. pJesper, that's exactly the thing I told you about. Really handy stuff. JP, that's why I've chosen Sram's jig - the price and it seems more basic than Aeroclub's. It took 15 minutes for me to assemble the jig. Lars, that's exactly what are my thoughts about the tools. This one is really worth the investment - I have 5, as far as I remember, unbuilt biplanes on the shelf. One thing that stops me from going on with Ni-17 on the jig - the lack of a decent Le Rhone 1/48 engine. Just can't find the shop selling Vector 1/48 engines. REPLY REPLY & QUOTE

AeroScale :: Biplane Assembly Jig

Larsa, thanx for advice! But no luck with hobbyeasy - they seem to be out of Le Rhone Vector 1/48 resin engines..

Anyway, thank you for advice!

Rowan, Petr really helped me to get the jig. That's the most customer friendly service I have ever experienced purchasing hobby stuff online. I use Modelimex to buy Czech's and Eastern European products (I only wish they could stock Karaya's items).. As for the Review: - No probs! Let's do it! AeroScale :: Biplane Assembly Jig

I ordered mine from hobbyshop.cz on August 25th , and just recieved a request for payment via PayPal for the item, meaning its back in stock and ready to ship upon payment. Kelly, when I ordered the jig from them, it was 17 euros, plus shipping and handling, which brought the price up to about 42 euros, your $60 equivalent. But the request for payment from PayPal was for 23 Euros, or about $35.00. I'm not sure why, maybe they took off costs associated with VAT in Europe, so it may not be as expensive as you think. Now comes the hard part....waiting for the mailman!
