participated during the FREE
workshops and classes that were
held during the School Holidays.
We had a GREAT turn-out
for our KRANK school holiday
workshops - which were
sponsored through Logan City
Council.

She attended the school holiday
KRANK workshops as well as the
FREE FRIDAYS classes. She also
attended ALL Tuesday, Wednesday
and Friday classes for the month of
July 2009!

 PERFORMANCE TEAM
Friday Class Changes
We have some
important changes
happening for our Friday
Performance Team classes!
We are very pleased to
see numbers increasing for
our Friday Night classes,
but we need to make sure
that everyone understands
the ORIGINAL purpose
for Friday Evenings - was
for the Performance Team.
We teach basics in
TUESDAY &
WEDNESDAY classes and
FRIDAY is an advanced
paced class where we teach
and go over routines for the
purpose of performing. You
must FOLLOW ALONG
and KEEP UP the best you
can. We encourage everyone
to come and follow along in
this class, but please
understand that we are not
TEACHING dance in this
class - just routines!
We have been working
on Long Poi and Tititorea
this past month & will be
performing some of it at the
Crestmead PCYC Opening.
We have also been working
on a fun Tahitian piece to
Modern Music!
We will start raising our
expectations with regards to
performances! We will have
only those that audition
numbers for us actually
perform them - to set the
bar higher for
performances! As an
individual as well as a group:
You will ONLY PERFORM
the numbers that we feel
you EXCEL in!
We will expect the ones
that want to perform to
dance at classes as if you are
at a performance! NO
EXCUSES!
We will be focusing
on the ADVANCED
students for the last 1/2
hour of class. Everyone
is welcome to stay and
follow along at the
BACK of the class. We
will start with the
following girls, and
watch at classes for any
others to move into the
ADVANCED category:
