Left 1 off 300 T on Powered Traversing Drive Unit fitted with polyurethane tyres capable of rotating 450 ton with the two additional idlers supplied.The traversing undercarriage is designed to transfer a 450 ton pipe from inside the customers factory, to the waiting barge on the canal. 2 off 150 T on Traversing Idlers Both drive and idlers are fitted with powered wheel carriage adjustment, via a lead screw and geared motor, with a digital display giving the position for different diameters of pipes.

Right 1 off 6m Traversing Internal Fixed Arm Boom welding with two sub arc heads and four wires with a weight of 450kg at the end of the boom with AC/DC power sources. 2 off Traversing Hydraulically Elevating Idlers. These machines are designed with the facility of elevating at one time: One wheel carriage Two wheel carriages All four wheel carriages With the load on the rotators, via a hydraulic cylinder incorporating a safety valve with 200mm of stroke to adjust the lining up of the vessels, the smaller additional length of pipe is loaded onto the elevating idlers and traversed into position. Once into position the two pipes will be correctly aligned using the elevating idlers. The additional pipe will be welded by sub arc and connected onto the main pipe, increasing the overall length of the final pipe. Left 1 off SAR 150 T on Drive Unit 2 off SAR Idler Units 1 set of 150 ton rotators consisting of 1 drive unit and 2 idler units.The drive unit has both wheel carriages driven independently. Each wheel carriage is driven via an encoded force vented motor fitted with thymistors and a David Brown Radicon primary and a secondary gearbox.The drive unit is operated via master and slave invertors which gives a more accurate speed control for outerbalance loads. 1 Standard Idler. 1 Anti drift idler fitted with a fully automatic ultra sonic sensor control for tracking and correcting the movement of the vessel or workpiece.
