RATIONALE a. This will identify the problem of the client and this will help to gain cooperation and reduce anxiety. This will control or lessen the risk or other complications .

Colon Cancer as a Health Deficit

Inability to provide adequate nursing care to the family who has colon cancer due to: a. Lack of knowledge about the disease, its nature, complicatio n, prognosis and managemen t. Inadequate knowledge of the nature and extent of health care needed.

After nursing intervention the family will be knowledgeabl e enough about the nature of the disease and proper management or care (independent ) to the patient. And will make necessary measures to properly manage or control the possible metastasis that might occur.

After nursing intervention Mr. Sajelan as well as the family member will: a. Be knowledge able about the disease, its possible complicatio n (metastasis ) so they could have the care needed accordingly . Understan d the benefits of proper medical consultatio n and benefit of the care needed. Have adequate knowledge on good proper nutrition
