The Health Of The Physical Body We shall now give the esoteric exercises pertaining to the healing of the

physical body, and will address also that question of rejuvenation. The young are not interested in regeneration, and worst of all they do not appreciate, do not know how to value that which is youth. The elderly do know, and appreciate deeply that which the young undervalue; the treasure of youth. If for example a young person were for a time to become old, even if it were only for an hour, and then return to being young again, I am sure he would take maximum advantage of his youth and would fight to conserve it, since in fact, to be young and to keep oneself youthful is what one must struggle for. You will say that this is impossible because the years keep passing; but what does it mean, "the years keep passing"? Time is nothing more than an illusion of the mind. The reality is that there is no time; time does not exist. In the Sacred Solar Absolute for instance, the universe exists - with all its processes - in a complete, uni-total form, within an eternal instant, beyond time. What occurs is that as the different processes in the universe crystallize we establish the concept "time" between one crystallization and the next. One day we take a trip to the country, we see the Sun rise and say, "It is six in the morning." We see the Sun set and we say, "It is six in the evening." When it sets we say, "twelve hours have passed". But where are these twelve hours? I ask myself and I ask you, "Where did we get them?" I should like someone to put these twelve hours in a laboratory for me to examine them, to see what they are made of, whether those hours are made of iron, of copper, or whatever. Where did they get them then, I ask; of what substance are they made? Are they round, are they square, or what are they like? I would like to know. I would like someone to put them in a glass case or on the laboratory table so they can be seen.

In reality it does not exist; "time" does not exist. It is just an invention of the mind. What has taken place is the process of the Sun rising, and the process of the Sun setting, but between one period and the other, that is to say, between the phenomenon of seeing the birth of the Sun and the phenomenon of seeing the death of the Sun, we put our much lauded "hours". This is one of those inventions of the mind! Those two phenomena (sunrise and sunset) are two phenomena that have occurred within an eternal instant. So, there is no time! Time is completely subjective; we could say it does not have a real, objective origin. It is just an invention of the mind, just as occurs in the matter of old age. We say, "I am eighty years old and therefore I am old". But, show me these years; where are they? I would like you to put them in a laboratory - these much vaunted eighty years - in order to examine them, to see what they are, to see what they are made of. Where are they? The crude reality of this is, my dear brethren, that there has been a succession of phenomena within an organism, that new cells have been exchanged for old cells, that the new cells, due to processes of assimilation, elimination, etc., have changed, have taken on an apparently aged character. That is to say, they have been damaged, have deteriorated, and are then eliminated. Finally, just as if there were an injury to the organism, when there are cells in the process of elimination, worn out cells etc., we say, "It is a question of age"... but it is a question of cells, not of age. It is a question of phenomena, of cellular mechanics! So, where are these years? What we have here is cellular mechanics, defective cellular processes! We should not accept mechanical processes; for heaven's sake, no! Let us create new cells, let us create perfect rhythm in our organism; make the vortices, the chakras, rotate - the occipital, the frontal, the laryngeal, the hepatic, the prostatic, the two "wheels of the knees". Obviously, the above mentioned are essential to the organism, and all the chakras together are of vital importance. We may say that it is through them that life, the "Tattwas" enter into the body. These tattwas enter, as I have said, and are transformed into hormones, and "hormone" comes from the Greek word which means, "the yearning to be", "force of being".

Indubitably, the tattwas enter the glands of internal secretion through the doors of the chakras and within those glands they are converted into hormones. If we put the chakras into intense rotation then we create exceptional quantities of hormones, and these in turn will create new tissues and cells, and we will always have a new organism. Then, what will have become of that much touted old age and those eighty years? Let us go to the heart of this matter, let's look at the facts, my dear brethren; let us consider the facts! And now; take this into account - and it is good that you know this - that the most powerful hormones in the human organism are in the sexual glands of internal secretion; I repeat, in the sexual glands. Consider for a moment what the sexual hormones, the sexual zoosperm, are. Let us look at the facts; the testicles clearly have three layers. The first testicular layer contains cells that enable us to live. These are particularly active during the first seven years of childhood, during the time when we are under the rule of the Moon. Later, from the age of seven to fourteen, under the regency of Mercury the second testicular layer enters into activity, which activity clearly defines the sexuality of the male. Later still, from the age of fourteen to twenty-one, under the regency of Venus the third testicular layer then enters into activity. It is this layer which produces an abundance of spermatozoa. These spermatozoa, on being formed in the third testicular layer, ascend via the adjacent testicle and continue through the spermatic tube towards the seminal vesicles, until they reach the prostate. It is very interesting to know that as these spermatozoa rise through the spermatic tubes, they are electrified, intensely charged, and the most curious and interesting thing is that they are magnetized, polarized we may say, from south to north. That is; they function as does a compass, from south to north. In other words they also orient themselves from south to north, are electrified, magnetized... It is really very interesting to see them passing from one tiny channel to the other, rising, rising, rising through the spermatic tubes until they actually reach the seminal vesicles, where the sperm (all those spermatozoa) are purified still more, until they reach the prostate. Here there is a very important chakra. Here is to be found the "Chakra Svdhisthna", which is fundamental in the mastery of sexual transmutation. The sexual transmutation has as its basis the prostate.

The prostatic chakra is, then, extremely important and interesting. The sperm is in reality totally purified, becomes completely radioactive, becomes completely electromagnetic, etc. It is transformed into energy, above all when one is working in the Sahaja Maithuna. Through the work with Sahaja Maithuna it is completely transformed into energy. The energy rises through the channels Id and Pingal, and the spermatozoa then break down into hormones. The hormones pass through the membranes, finally enter the blood stream and actively stimulate the glands of internal secretion, causing them to work with extraordinary intensity. They then rise, continuing their ascendant course until they reach the brain. They ascend, and put into activity there the areas of the brain that do not function, that are degenerated. They stimulate all the cerebral cells and activate certain latent powers in man, etc., etc., etc. Unfortunately - and this is something very grave my dear brethren - people are degenerated. The common, ordinary man does not allow the spermatozoa to ascend to the prostate; not even for a second. From the seminal vesicles they turn them back, they eliminate them for the satisfaction of their brutal impulses. Under these circumstances the brain degenerates terribly because it lacks the ascent of hormones. It does not receive sexual hormones and loses its capacity for activity. The latent faculties in man atrophy because there is not sufficient stimulation from the sexual hormones, which are so very powerful. As I have said, they have the power to activate all the glands of internal secretion, to make them produce all kinds of hormones, which energize the living organism. Other factors must also be taken into account. Observe that it is the sexual force in the fetus which produces the phenomenon of mitosis. Let us understand by "mitosis", the division of cells for the purpose of gestation, be it human, animal, or whatever. So, the presence of the creative energy causes the original cell, which has as we know, forty eight chromosomes, to divide in two. Those two divide in four, the four in eight, etc., etc., etc., thus forming tissues, organs and so on. That is the process of gestation, of the formation of offspring within the maternal womb. So, I now wish to tell you, taking all this to the field of sexual transmutation, that the sexual hormones (active within the bloodstream, charged with electricity and magnetism), serve to produce in the living adult human organism, the processes of mitosis; that is to say, new divisions of cells, the

formation of new tissues, etc. This is we may say, from a biological point of view, how one attains the complete regeneration or rejuvenation of the human organism.

It is obvious that we need to create; we need to create - I repeat - new flesh, new blood, new life in the body so as to eliminate illnesses etc. He who works in the Maithuna with his priestess-wife attains all this, and by means of the Vajroli Mudra the biological process of recuperation is also attained. So then, the transmutation of the sexual force and wise utilization of the hormones are necessary for the well-being of the human organism. This is clear, and I want you to understand it in a specific, defined way. For example, what is the difference between the young people of the "new wave" and old-fashioned and reactionary old people? There is one difference: the third testicular layer in the young is producing sexual hormones at an alarming rate; is producing mountains of spermatozoa, we could say. All those spermatozoa, transformed into hormones, rise to the brain and rejuvenate it. For this reason the young have a revolutionary way of thinking, are "open to the new", etc., whereas the poor old people who have already exhausted the Sacred Sperm, who have deteriorated due to sexual abuse, are frankly burdensome. The third testicular layer now produces very few spermatozoa. It often takes them days or months to have sufficient spermatozoa to attain a simple erection. Obviously, when they do achieve that erection, they immediately copulate, eliminating those spermatozoa. Then of course, it takes some days, or a month or more to accumulate new spermatozoa, and once accumulated, they immediately squander them in momentary passionate satisfaction. So their lives pass until they die. Not having the capacity to produce vast quantities of spermatozoa, clearly their third testicular layer proceeds to atrophy completely until none are produced The second layer produces its cells and hormones, but these cannot pass to the next stage due to the already mentioned atrophy. It can even happen that the second and third testicular layers are affected by certain inflammations or swellings, and worse still, this begins as a logical consequence to affect the prostate. These poor, degenerate elderly persons are always undergoing prostate operations, as a consequence of these abuses. This is obvious, and I want you to have a clear and specific understanding of it.

These poor old people then, not being able to produce great amounts of spermatozoa in the third testicular layer, do not have new ideas because their brain cells are atrophied, certain areas of the brain do not function. They hold onto what they have learned in the past; they become backward old people who do not accept anything new. With their rancid, antiquated and torpid ideas from the past they obviously come into conflict with young people, because the young are producing new spermatozoa, are having new ideas, and are "open to the new". Thus arises the clash between the old and the new. This then, is the difference that exists between the young people of the "new wave" and old people. It is a completely biological, sexual difference; understand this clearly. So then, I want you to make use of the Vajroli Mudra just as I have taught you for transmutation, and those with wives to practice Sexual Magic. As far as women are concerned I have something to say, I am going to speak about something... Women who waste their sexual energy "wear out", because this is undoubtedly prejudicial to their whole skeletal system. Having so many children they are extremely debilitated. If a woman however, transmutes her sexual energies by means of the Maithuna, or the Vajroli Mudra, etc., etc., an abundant number of female hormones are produced which enter the bloodstream, and these hormones will bring about the same result - to charge worn out cells with electricity, to assist certain lymphocytes, and certain leukocytes (cells in general), to produce the phenomenon of mitosis and to create new flesh, new blood, new life. Their hormones will also contribute to the brain, fortifying it, putting certain cells into activity, awakening certain powers, etc., etc., etc. But the woman who exhausts herself sexually will inevitably degenerate, and the moment will come in which her ovaries no longer produce sufficient female hormones for regeneration to take place. Then we find this horrible state of the old woman, already decrepit due to the waste of her vital energies. I have spoken clearly and I believe you understand me. This amplification concerning the Vajroli Mudra was also necessary from the scientific point of view.

Now my dear brethren, let us consider another aspect Let us analyze a little this matter of the Viparitakarani Mudra. We have already explained what the position for the Viparitakarani Mudra is. We know that the six rites begin firstly, by rotating from left to right; that is, in a clockwise direction. This is the dance of the Dervishes, the "Whirling Dervishes". We know that afterwards the student lies down on the floor with the legs and arms open in a cross; all this together with meditation, Prayer, etc. Afterwards comes the moment in which the student raises the legs, keeping the head on the ground, without a pillow, lying upon the floor on a mat, carpet or rug, or however one feels most comfortable. Well then, clearly in this position with legs raised and head lowered, the blood will flow to the head. Now imagine the blood enriched with sexual hormones; something extraordinary! Blood of this kind will activate the different areas of the brain, the different centres. It will eliminate the blocked lymph - yes, lymph, which should pass to the lower depositories, those of the lower abdomen, etc., or which should be distributed through the correct channels. Most interesting of all, and this is what I want you to know, is that this blood will prepare the Throne - listen well - the Throne for the Resplendent Sun, for an Atomic, Logoic Sun, which presently exists in the root of the umbilicus. Think about what this means my dear brethren; this is extraordinary. I have here a certain chart which I will now show our brethren; a certain, very useful Zen chart... But for now I wish to simply limit myself to saying that this enriched blood flows to the brain and prepares the Throne. Where is the Throne? It is precisely in the cerebral peduncle, in the depository centre of afferent impulses, which controls all the living organism's nervous organic movement, etc., etc. When the Resplendent Sun which is in the root of the umbilicus rises to occupy its place in the cerebral peduncle in the depository centre of afferent impulses, the mind then comes under the control of that Resplendent Sun; it is illuminated from within, having a Sun inside (think about what it means to have a Spiritual Sun within). So then, the Moon which presently occupies this depository centre of afferent impulses and which embitters our existence, making it torpid, heavy, reactionary and stupid, inevitably

descends to occupy the place which at present is occupied by the Sun, in the root of the umbilicus.

There is then an exchange; the Sun from the root of the umbilicus passes to the cerebral peduncle, and the Moon which is in the cerebral peduncle passes to the root of the umbilicus. This exchange of Sun and Moon within the organism is precisely then, my dear brethren, that which is called Viparitakarani Mudra. The mind is normally that which most torments the life of all students, of all neophytes, of all aspirants of the path. It is that which really makes life as bitter as bile, because nobody is happy with the mind. If the mind were controlled by the Spiritual Sun then we would free ourselves, we would then leave that misfortune behind, we would then be completely illuminated But, here today, what is there within the mind? There, within the cerebral peduncle, in that depository centre of afferent impulses, at the very root of the palate, there is unfortunately an Atomic Moon; heavy like all moons, coarse like all moons, palid like all moons, full of frightening, horrible, involuntary impulses, such as skepticism, materialism, vulgarity... To remove that Moon from there, from the brain, and place it in the root of the umbilicus is the best thing of all. To take the Sun which is in the root of the umbilicus, and transfer it to the place presently occupied by the Moon, that is to say, in the very centre of the brain, at the root of the palate, in the cerebral peduncle, in the depository centre of afferent impulses is thus a great triumph, because then one is illuminated from within, radiant, active, dynamic, filled with splendor and happiness. And this may be attained by means of the Viparitakarani Mudra. In the moment in which one is doing this practice, one must pray to the Logos, because the Logos is the one who is at the heart of the Sun; behind the physical Sun which illuminates us. It is He who truly can bring light to our brain. It is He who can take this Sun which is in the root of the umbilicus and transfer it to the cerebral peduncle. It is to Him that one must supplicate. Fortunately we have a mediator, someone who pleads for all of us. I wish to refer emphatically to the Divine Mother Kundalin, to the Igneous Serpent of our Magical Powers. Indubitably, She, She, I repeat She, pleads for us. We can supplicate Her during the Viparitakarani Mudra, so that She supplicates

the Logos, that pure, dynamic Spiritual Sun of gold, that She call Him, that She invoke Him, that He may come and carry out this operation within us.

Clearly my dear brethren, this is not something that is accomplished from one day to the next, it is not like "blowing bubbles", or like having a drink of water; everything requires sacrifice. The Viparitakarani Mudra if properly understood, is a penance; yes, a very sacred penance by means of which we may eliminate much of our superior karma. I am not referring to the lesser, ordinary everyday karma, but rather to greater karma, to that which relates to the Law of Katancy, that which takes place in other tribunals, that which in the end, judges the Gods. But, everyone has some greater karma and we can eliminate it. Afterwards, it being eliminated once and for all, it is clear that this interchange of Sun and Moon can take place, we can realize what may be called the "change of polarities"; the Viparitakarani Mudra. The Viparitakarani Mudra is then, a penance. We should not underestimate penance. We need, not the antiquated penance of the Piscean Age, but rather the new penance - that of the Age of Aquarius. We need a scientific, esoteric, mystical, highly transcendent and transcendental Penance; one which produces marvelous changes in all the psycho-physiological centres of our organism. So then, in the Age of Aquarius, consider penance from that scientific point of view; not that absurd penance of old-fashioned people, but rather, scientific penance. Remember that the Intimate Self-Realization of the Being is only possible through patient, or conscious acts and voluntary sufferings. Well, just as there exists for example, the short, gentle Vajroli Mudra as practiced by married men and women (a light massage above the sexual organs accompanied by breathing exercises, just as I have taught you), it is also true - absolutely true - that there exists a long as well as a short Viparitakarani Mudra. The short version is practiced each time one does the series of the Six Rites, but there is also a long version which is practiced exclusively at night, before going to bed.

This long form is not easy. It is a matter of keeping the legs vertical for three hours; this is difficult, isn't it? One may use a wall to assist oneself. One sits close to the wall, right at the edge of the wall, let us say against the wall, and raises the legs, supporting them using the wall; but I repeat, without using a pillow, no pillow of any kind, so that the blood rushes to the head. Clearly, nobody could commence with three hours, nobody could tolerate this much. One begins the practice with one minute and lengthens it little by little over time, year by year, until in the end one day one may practice for three hours daily. To those who achieve the practice of the Viparitakarani Mudra for three hours daily, I tell you that you will conquer death, you will become immortal, on condition of absolute chastity (have you understood me?), and you will of course also realize other miracles and prodigies. But you must begin with one minute daily, slowly, little by little. This is clear my dear brethren. Whilst practicing the Viparitakarani Mudra, one meditates and prays, supplicating, begging the Divine Mother Kundalin to invoke the Third Logos; that She call Him, that She ask Him to effect the interchange - that the Sun which is in the root of the umbilicus pass to the centre of the brain, to the very root of the palate, to the very depths where the cerebral peduncle is found; the depository centre of afferent impulses. One also asks of Her that She implore the Logos, that She ask Him to remove this Moon from one, that He extract it from the cerebral peduncle and place it in the root of the umbilicus, because we wish to be illuminated, transformed, with a mind that no longer aggrieves our existence, with a mind that is at the service of the Spirit; understood? After six months of doing this practice, those who are a little older should feel some contentment, because a magnificent process then begins; the grey hairs and wrinkles begin to disappear. As time, as the years go by, they continue to disappear, until the moment finally arrives when there are neither wrinkles nor grey hairs, because the blood being enriched with hormones will fortify the brain and enrich all the areas of the scalp, so that the grey hairs disappear.

Rich blood enriches the hair. The worn-out tissues that produce wrinkles are also transformed by the creation of new cells, because the blood flows to all parts of the head, the face etc., etc., etc., and brings about a process of rejuvenation. So, those who wish to rejuvenate themselves, let them do so. Here you have the practices. Thus two aspects enter into play in this matter; the physical aspect, the purely physical rejuvenation of the organism, and the psychic aspect, the change of polarities. Therefore, these exercises serve to awaken consciousness. For this reason I have always said that we are eminently practical, that we struggle to awaken consciousness, and that we have efficient and appropriate means and methods for awakening. Well, now that this matter of the Viparitakarani Mudra is understood, let us do some demonstrations. I am now going to explain to you how the long version of the Viparitakarani Mudra is practiced. One practices only once per day, do not practice it twice in a day. The short version may indeed be practiced each time one practices the series of Six Rites. (By the way, they practice this whole series of the Six Rites twenty-one times daily). Clearly no-one can begin by practicing twenty one times daily because the body is not accustomed to it. Some will begin by practicing the series of six only once. Later, one may continue practicing twice, and in time, three times, etc. But the day will come, although it may be after many years, when one practices twenty one times daily; that is to say, the series of Six Rites are practiced twenty-one times per day. But this is when one already has much practice; that is, when one is very accustomed to them. With all this one has to proceed little by little, with calm, with patience, increasing the duration and intensity of the exercises. But, I advise you that the long version of the Viparitakarani Mudra may only be practiced once. It is practiced before going to sleep, at night before going to bed. As I have said, one begins with one minute and then extends the time, until, after some years one is able to practice the prescribed three hours. This is really for the true athletes of esoterism. At this point I will give a demonstration, then you will have to do the same so that you learn. One must learn in this way, on the spot. One cannot learn

this taking notes and more notes, such as everyone is accustomed to doing. I do not like to teach by "giving notes".

I will do the practice, which I begin by sitting peacefully. Here I am then, seated on this rug on the floor. Being seated, I position myself against the fence or wall. (The Master here asks a student to describe what he is doing.) Student: Now the Master is raising his legs against the wall, keeping his back on the floor, and what is known as the "gluteal region" against the wall. The waist remains on the floor, the legs are completely vertical and the arms and hands parallel to the back. The head is resting on the floor, with the face upwards, facing the roof or ceiling of the house. This is the position that the Master has taken. The Master continues: Well, here you see a full right-angle, because the legs are against the wall and the buttocks against the wall also. The trunk is fully extended upon the floor. I am looking upwards toward the ceiling. So then, a complete right-angle is formed. One has to remain like this for three hours. One begins with one minute, and then, little by little, year by year one advances until the day arrives in which one attains the maximum of three hours. I repeat; he who reaches these heights truly overcomes death, conquers it; and this of itself is a miracle, isn't it? Furthermore, after having practiced this exercise for some time, the grey hairs and wrinkles will disappear. However, frankly, what really seems to me more extraordinary is to attain the interchange of Sun-Moon polarities. In that position we have to ask, supplicate our Divine Mother Kundalin, so that She invokes in Her own words, the Third Logos, the Holy Spirit, given that He is Her spouse; that She ask that He come, to beg Him to make this interchange of the Sun-Moon polarities; is this clear? All this is pure prayer, pure meditation, pure supplication. To each sana there correspond in fact, thousands of supplications, prayers and petitions to the Divine Mother Kundalin, and also to the Third Logos. One begs Her, asks Her to invoke the Third Logos, and one also speaks with the Third Logos.

I effected this interchange of the Sun-Moon polarities on the continent of Lemuria. I remember when the Third Logos took that five-pointed star such is the form of the Sun which is in the root of the umbilicus - and transferred it to the cerebral peduncle. I recall also when He took that horrible, heavy Moon with its terrible grey leaden halo, wrenched it from the cerebral peduncle and placed it in the root of the umbilicus. That change of polarities transformed me completely and I became a Solar Man. Later, I committed the truly grave error of allowing myself to fall. This was in the central plateau of Asia, one million years ago. Obviously, today I am again elevated; I am on my feet. Now as they say, I am triumphant and victorious. However, one million years ago I do remember committing that error, and thus it is clear that that Moon which was in the root of the umbilicus, returned to take its place in the cerebral peduncle, and the resplendent Sun then returned to the root of the umbilicus. You can see how I put my foot in it. Thus, if one lets oneself fall, all the work is lost. I am speaking to you from experience. I am telling you of this experience so that you may benefit from it. He who becomes involved in such things must never, never let himself fall; understood? Good, now that we have spoken a little about this, now that we have gone deeper into explanations, I wish to also tell you something with regard to the Mayurasana. Mayurasana, as it is called in Sanskrit, is without doubt practiced by many people. Here in Mexico it is used not only by ladies and gentlemen (in the ordinary sphere of life), but also in the pseudo-esoteric schools. Without doubt, they have taken it from ancient esoterism. We practice it in combination with prayer, meditation, etc., etc., etc., but these people do not know about that. They concentrate in only the purely physical aspect, calling it simply "the Lizard", and that is all. You already know, as I have previously explained, that one assumes the position of the Lizard, resting on hands and feet, moving the "paunch", or stomach, or "tummy" as is said, up and down. With this exercise my dear brethren, one undoubtedly achieves the elimination of the horrible "paunch". It is very unpleasant to go about with that well-known "curve of contentment"; a large, protruding belly which sticks out everywhere.

No, Gnostics should have a healthy, strong, handsome and slim body, neither overweight nor excessively fat. That fat has to be burned off, it is of no use, and with this exercise, the Mayurasana or "Lizard", one burns up this awful fat and the stomach is in harmony with the whole physical body. But above all, I do not want you to lose sight of meditation and prayer. This is not simple, physical Hatha Yoga, because Hatha Yoga as such completely excludes meditation, prayer, etc., etc.; being for those who dedicate themselves to the purely crude, material aspect. For this reason Hatha Yoga has been considered to be "black magic", and you must clearly understand this. If you wish for example, to put some name to these exercises, then let it be known that they come from a Tibetan Lamasery. In the East, in India, they would not be out of place; there is something of this to be found in Laya, or Kundalin Yoga. In Turkey they are known to the "Dancing Dervishes"; for them it being a matter pertaining to the Mohammedan Sufis. But, in the final analysis these exercises are a synthesis of Christianity, Mohammedanism, etc.; a perfect and extraordinary synthesis. It is necessary to have a healthy body, a healthy mind and a simple heart; do you understand? Now, as I have said, with all these practices you may heal yourselves because you are supplicating the Divine Mother Kundalin, praying that She heal a particular organ, or asking that She bring the Third Logos so that He may heal it. I have already explained this a great deal, what I am now doing is repeating it. Let us now pass to the subject of fasting. It is necessary, even if it be only once a year, to do a scientific fast for the purpose of cleansing the stomach. If you would like to know of a fast which is precise, esoteric and scientific, a fast to purify the organism, to cleanse it of all manner of decay, putrefaction and waste, then fast in the following manner - listen carefully - seven days each year, once a year. During the fast one eats garlic; clean, pure, uncooked garlic, raw, in its natural form, and one also drinks lemon juice. Men may drink pure lemon juice without mixing it with water, once per day; the rest of the time mixing water with the lemon.

Women should only drink the lemon juice with water (a mixture; not pure lemon, but mixed with water). They should use less lemon and more water, because for the woman the use of lemon is a little delicate. With respect to lemon, the woman's body is not constituted in the same manner as the man's. At most a few drops of lemon in the water, and no more. Neither would I recommend that you begin with a strong fast; no. For example, if you wish you can begin a fast of this kind for one single day only. During the day prepare your three main meals simply with garlic cloves, a strong lemon drink on rising, and the rest of the day, water with lemon. Women should drink water with only a few drops of lemon, and during the day, glasses of water with lemon, and cloves of garlic. A fast like this, one day only and no more. Obviously, the lemon and garlic will eliminate all the fetid matter that collects in the intestines, which is the by-product of different foods. It will eliminate intestinal parasites, of which there are enormous quantities in the stomach, the intestines, etc., etc., etc. It will perform a purification, since the stomach is like a root from which the whole tree of the organism is nourished, and it must be cleansed. Begin then, with one day of fasting per year, and in the following year, two days with this kind of fast, three the following year, and so on each year, increasing it by a day until you reach nine. After nine years you can then continue with fasts of nine days each year; every year nine days, based on lemon and garlic. I guarantee you that you will be able to rejuvenate the organism, and those who are young will be able to maintain their youth for a great many years. Old age is nothing more than wear and tear; nothing more than deterioration of the organic cells - or better said - one wastes the cells; they deteriorate miserably, and due to ignorance, we do not reconstruct the organism. But, having wisdom, one may perfectly well be creating new cells and maintain himself young; and if he is old, then he may regain youth. Do not forget that you can choose - seven days of fasting or nine. The choice is yours; choose, choose, until you attain the maximum!

PROLOGUE In this park in Mexico City I have within my view in these moments beautiful trees, fine promenades, children playing beneath the ardent rays of the Sun. There are people seated upon benches, contemplating the beauties of nature. As I dictate this prologue, many scenes come to my memory, many dramas, extraordinary vistas from ancient times; initiatic colleges, solitary hermitages where anchorites meditated in silence, babbling brooks tumbling along their rocky courses, the marvelous Sibyls of Druidic Europe, the hermits from the earliest times of the old Egypt of the Pharaohs, etc., etc., etc. Without doubt, in the Mysteries of Eleusis my dear brethren, as in those of Troy, Rome, Carthage, Egypt, etc., the psychic and the physical paralleled each other perfectly and harmoniously. Remember for instance the Pythagorean Mysteries; in those times, one who did not know mathematics was not admitted. Recall the dancing Dervishes, the magnificent Runes, the beautiful dances of ancient India, the perfect rhythmic movements of the Egyptian Initiates; here you will see, my dear brethren, that extraordinary parallelism that has always existed between the spiritual, the animic and the physical. Indubitably, we have a body of flesh and bone. There is a marvelous eurhythmy in that body, and in the brain are to be found many latent powers that must be awakened. It is indispensable to learn how to manage our body, to know how to extract, to bring out, its sweetest melodies. It is important to make it vibrate symphonically within the miraculous harp of the infinite universe. It is absurd, my dear brethren, to permit that the Heropass (time) should damage this precious vehicle that has been given to us for our own intimate realization. In truth, brethren, I say to you that we, the Gnostics, have precise methods to rejuvenate the organism and to cure all illnesses. Without question, we are able to learn how to heal ourselves. Each one of us can become his own

doctor, learning to cure himself, without need for medicine; in this we have the most precious ideal.

It is important to preserve this body in perfect health for many years so as to avail ourselves of this precious vehicle for our own intimate SelfRealization. Here follow the exercises necessary to preserve perfect health and prolong life. You have here, brethren, the precious methods with which, if you are old, you may reconquer youth, and if you are young, you may prolong that youth indefinitely. Understand then, read with attention, and practice. To theorize is of no use; you must go to the heart of the matter, to the facts. This is an eminently practical, and at the same time didactic work. The teaching is given in a dialectic way but I repeat, don't simply content yourselves with mere bookish information. Turn the doctrine into facts. Teachings for the awakening of consciousness are also given in this work. The hour is at hand, the moment to awaken. Why must we continue to be asleep? The procedures we are giving humanity in this work are efficient and absolutely and completely practical. Each and every one of the brothers and sisters, by practicing meditation in the way we have taught, will one day be able to attain Samdhi. Today, with these practical and precisely didactic exercises, any sincere aspirant can provoke the Great Change, the authentic, radical transformation. Above all, what is truly needed is continuity of purpose. It is not enough to practice today and tomorrow to forget. It becomes necessary to practice and to practice intensely throughout the whole life until reaching the goal, the true triumph. May peace be with all humanity. Samael Aun Weor.
