Jan. 8, Wed.- JGA and Jr. Youth will meet at the Bowmansville Mennonite from 78:30 p.m. Jr. Youth will be having a Mystery Supper, so COME HUNGRY! JGA will have a movie night - come in your pajamas, if you like! JBA will be having a Gym Night at Gehmans School. Boys should meet at the school at 7 p.m., and Dads are invited to stay for the evening. Jan. 10-12, Fri.-Sun- Jr. Youth Cabin weekend Jan. 15, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet, in the morning and afternoon, at the Bowmansville Mennonite. The project for this month is comforters and bought blankets. MCC prefers single/twin size comforters (approx. 60x80 in.) made with new or nearly new material, and filled with new quilt batting. Purchased blankets are also accepted in twin or full size. At our January meeting we will share in a pot luck lunch. Please bring a hot or cold dish to share with the group. Place settings are provided. YOU are welcome to come for the entire time, or just a few hours as it suits you! Jan. 19, Sun.-The ladies tea is set for 4 p.m. in the fellowship hall, all ladies are welcome. Lei Williams will be sharing her life story with us how at the age of 3 she had to leave her home in Vietnam. We will also be revealing our secret sisters from this past year and pulling names for the upcoming year. If you are unable to come and want your name in please see me for a form. Also if you are willing to bring food for the tea let me know. Thanks! -Cindy Jan. 24 or 25-Coffeehouse With a Cause-We will be putting together school kits for MCC and also knotting a quilt. On the table in the narthex are signup sheets for donating school supplies and we are also accepting material for the quilt. The evening is for everyone there will be a video, food and drinks and after the projects are finished you can play games or chat or both. Jan. 28, Tues.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will have a work day at MCC's Material Resource Center, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be work for men and women of all ages. Knotting comforters, quilting, helping with various recycling projects, etc. are some of the things that are available to do. If you are able to help the entire day, please bring your lunch along. Drink is provided. Happy Birthday! Doug Musselman on Mon., Jared Sauder and Wade Leid on Fri. -Thornton Wilder's classic play, Our Town, will be performed by LMHS for two weekends: Jan. 17 & 18 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 23-25 at 7 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee Sat., Jan. 25. The play will be staged in the "three-quarters round" format, using the stage space to seat audience members closer to the actors. In this format, seating will be limited and provided on a first come, first serve basis. Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for senior citizens and $8 for adults, and may be reserved by calling the box office at 299-0436, ext. 340. -The men's retreat is scheduled for Feb. 7-9, 2014. Bob Musser will be the speaker. Sign-up sheets coming in January. Please contact Phil Horning or Bethany Horning to arrange a time for a photo to be taken(Sun. after church might be good), or if you have a recent individual or family photo you would like to use, let us know that as well.

These are held on the first Monday evenings of each month from 7-8pm.

Any youth,12 and older, who wouild like to join this program and have a mentor should contact Kelly. There are presently 6 youth paired with a mentor and a 7th joining this month. Mentoring is a significant ministry and needs our prayer support. Thanks for your prayers. Continue to pray. Pray for Kelly in this new role and for our youth.
